Never reserve on this hotel, poor service, service terrible, dirty place

It's a guest house/motel, not HOTEL! Look bad, there is no fresh air.

If the staff was nice it sould have made up for the uncleaned room. Had to ask for new pilllows and bed sheet because the ones on the bed smelled terrible like they haven't been washed. Receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all.

hotel was centrally located to everything pretty much. quiet and safe location

I went against my original thought about staying at a Howard Johnson, and regretted every minute of it. The hotel smelled of mildew and smoke, and my wife lined her bed with the bath towels to not sleep on the covers and end up smelling like a cigar bar. The carpet and furniture need to be completely replaced. Minimum interaction with the staff. Thankfully, checkout and transport to the airport was easy.

It was okay even though it was a little noisy. A little far from Manhattan and a little expensive.

The price could be better for what you get but overall okay

this is the hotel we stay at because we know it's clean, has free parking and complimentary breakfast. Whenever we have a problem, the staff helps in a timely manner.

The room was clean, but it was smoky. Relatively safe and convinent drive to the airport.

When we arrived the hotel smelled of Marijuana and the room had things left from the previous visitor ie. A button in the bed and wrappers in the corner. The shower curtain rod was half on and kept falling so the bathroom was soaked. The workers were amazingly nice and suggested a pizza place to eat and joked with us, which is very important because we have a very fun time. The location was good but it wasnt up to par, the housekeeping was horrible!

This hotel is good. The hotel is like what we expected.

great value, close to the train station that takes you to manhattan.

Nice clean room. No unpleasant smell. Good breakfast till 10 am. It's like an oasis in a pretty rough looking neighborhood.

Arrived in NY really early early on a redeye flight before the check-in time but I was able to get into my room about an hour ahead of time. Entire hotel has wifi included so I was able to get some work done and post pictures up of my friend's wedding. Location is right next to Long Island Railroad so going into Manhattan was fairly easy. There were enough parking spots in the back as well.

They arranged me in a room facing the roads. It was noisy that night.

The hotel looked safe. People at the desk are always nice and polite. There's always something new there every time. I guess that's why the price goes up each time. I think in the last 3 years, the price went up at least $50. I travel from PA to visit friends and only stay there for a day or two. besides the smell, price and the new "art" pictures they added on the wall in the bedrooms, I can't say I've ever been disappointed to the extreme.

Staff were not friendly and accomodating. Not very clean. Lobby area was not very welcoming. Not coming back

Not a bad location, lirr to the city is the best...

Went well, was in the area for work,,,, the LIRR is the best way to commute

On cold days there was great heat,, breakfast wasn't bad.
