Great location, Great housekeeping, but no washer dryer. And it has a nice rooftop!

Found a scuters coleoptrata centipede that is harmful if bitten in bedroom.

Hotel is in a great location. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful. There is currently construction on the building next door that starts 6 days a week at 7:00 am so no sleeping in.

Reasonable for the money. Older infrastructure. Slow elevators and only two.

Nice comfortable place with a very good complimenrary breakfast.

We were in NYC for a week while my son attended a summer camp at NYU. The hotel was perfect location. Close to subway entrances and walking distance to the school. Also walking distance to Little Italy, China Town, all major attractions in the city. The staff was wonderful from the great bartender to the front desk. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Very disappointed in the service we received at the front desk everyone was rude. The location is very difficult and based on the traffic that surrounds the hotel especially during rush hours in the morning and the evening and also was very difficult for parking your vehicle four blocks away in a parking garage paying Overpriced and fees

Comfortable stay. Convenient location. Great little bar that makes wonderful guavatinis! Courteous staff.

The room and stay was very pleasant. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I spent two weeks here during a business trip and was happy with the choice. My room was on the 8th floor facing the street and the traffic noise was moderate but manageable. I sleep with earplugs at any hotel and had no issues here. Several days I worked from the room and had the window open for a nice breeze. The wireless internet access worked fine, which is critical for me, and was free. Cell service was also fine. The room was larger than I expected, honestly. King bed, plush chair, tall dresser w/hangers, small work desk, and a nicely renovated modern bathroom with large shower (not bathtub). Basically everything that I needed. The free breakfast was decent. Fruits, yogurts, pastries, and even some hot items. The hot items were so-so, but hey - it was free! Overall I was very pleased, especially for the price. Will be back.

Very pleasant stay, but I do agree with other reviewers that the beds are uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't the best but still better than most free hotel breakfasts. The bar was awesome, as was the bar tender who kept us entertained. He went to the trouble of hooking up an antenna so I could watch my college football game that wasn't in the normal channel lineup. Overall, I recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value in NYC.

Only spent 2 nights but they were very comfortable and had no problems while I was there. The staff was friendly and the area is great. The pier is not that far and there are plenty of metro options available.

It's a cool little location, on the quiet western edge of ChinaTown, great view of Freedom Tower from the street, Close to SoHo shopping, 1 Train nearby. Room was a bit small, but it was just one person and didn't really need to spend a lot of time in it. AC worked!

got in late, service was great, was able to get into my room quickly and all of the amenities where great. Location was very convenient too.

My second stay in the first few months of 2014. Each time the bedding/comforters are so old and lumpy they look like a pack of dead cats under a sheet. I can't imagine how anyone makes up that room and thinks it looks OK. The mattress was worn out and the pillows were shadows of their former selves.

The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable right by Holland tunnel entrance.

Got a room on one of the higher floors which had an amazing view of the skyline. Free breakfast is always a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The only problem I experienced was that the elevator down button on my floor did not work. So I would either have to wait for the elevator to stop at my floor or press the up button and then go up to the higher floors first. Great location if you like downtown Manhattan. Close to Soho, Tribeca and Chinatown.

Great location in Soho and great value for the money. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for one night on a recent business trip. Nicest Hampton Inn I've ever been to. Surprisingly large room for NYC. Very clean and comfortable. There was a nice manager's happy hour with some free beer and snacks. Breakfast was typical continental. Location was great. a block away from the subway, a block away from a huge selection of restaurants and shops. I'd stay here again.
