Great location and friendly staff. The lounge area downstairs is great for grabbing a coffee and planning your day. Seemed to run out of supplies at times.

I reviewed over 20 Resorts and hotels before making my decision and decided to choose this one. It was the only one that I found that was in a perfect location in Manhattan that was also close to many of the sites we wanted to visit as tourists. The combinations of our room also made a big part in our decision and staying with this hotel chain. It provided a kitchen and a laundry room which comes in handy when you have a large family. The staff you're amazing so personable and friendly by time we left we felt like they were our friends

One night stay a little expensive but I was upgraded upon arrival

Room is little old but it's clean and convenient, definitely exceeding my expectation.

The scale, style and staff made this hotel a place of refuge and relaxation. It was located in a safe and convenient spot, near transportation, good food and shopping. The hotel bikes offer fun and fabulous access to Central Park, Museums, and the West side. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay here again and again!!! Affinia Gardens was wonderful!!!

We really love staying here. Great location, wonderful staff and dog-friendly.

I was in NYC for business, and wanted to stay in Manhattan so I could be close to where I would be working. It's not the best value for just getting a place to sleep, but the room was gigantic and beautiful, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Beds and everything else very comfortable. Would stay again (if I'm not paying! haha).

I brought my 7-year-old daughter and had a great time at this hotel. It worked out perfectly. It was the quietest and largest room I have ever had in NY. It was great having a little kitchen and a supermarket within a block. The location was great.

The staff was fantastic and very attentive. It got very hot while we were there and they turned on the air conditioner even though it was prior to their normal date. The bathroom door squeeked and within 5 minutes of us telling them, they came and fixed it. We had a junior suite for three people and it could have easily fit 6 people. Easy access to subway. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit NYC.

Stayed for 1 night when I was in town for business and it was great. Huge rooms by new york standards (as I've heard) and great location (1 block to subway station as well as plenty restaurants). Will definitely go back with the family.

It was the eight or ninth time we stay here. Solid offerings for a very decent price on the Upper East Side. It is very practical if one plans to receive people in the room.

The one-bedroom suite was spacious and clean, with a functioning kitchen, living room with desk area, and large bedroom. The bathroom was small, but the spaciousness of the rest of the room compensated for it. This is not a luxury hotel, but the staff treated me as if I were a luxury hotel guest. They accommodated all requests. They were warm, friendly and remarkably helpful. The gym was sufficient, working and clean. The small lobby area was nice and had complimentary coffee and tea most of the day. Location is great.

needed a nice hotel on upper East side in NYC. Room rate attractive. room much nicer than expected, much bigger, quiet. Room service supplied by nearby restaurants; didn't try them.

Not luxurious, but spacious and confortable. Courteous service and tranquil location

What a wonderful place. Fabulous large clean junior suite. The price was fabulous. The staff attentive. The location on East 64th Street between Second and Third Avenue was fine for us since we did not need to be smack in mid-town. So we took leisurely walks down Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue to see the store decorations, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza and have lunch and dinner with friends.. I have lived and worked in New York City for 40-years. Now retired and living in Washington DC, this hotel has leaped to the top of our favorite hotel list.

The location was perfect - as my trip to NYC was to bring a relative to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital which is only 3 blocks away. The neighborhood is calm with many nice restaurants and a neat food store - Gourmet Garage a block away. Not far from the Subway. Great burgers at Jackson Hole down the street and a nice diner at 3rd & 65th St for breakfast. Several parks nearby to relax. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a kitchenette. The staff was extremely helpful and made my stay a very pleasant one despite the stressful situation.

The location and the staff make this hotel one of the best I have ever stayed at! The rooms are big with comfortable beds, and the hotel is very close to a 24-hour CVS, which makes it convenient to replace those last minute items!

The hotel room was very large, very comfy king sized bed. Nice sitting area. It even had a separate room with a full kitchen. Out of the way of the hustle and bustle of time square area, but a nice walk to central park and only a few blocks to the nearest subway stop.

Our experience started with the nicest bellhop escorting us to our rooms, giving us maps and ideas of where to go, suggesting restuarants, and helping us plan our entire itinerary. The front desk staff was completely accommadating in our every request (which were few because we had almost everything we needed). Location was close to Central Park in a nice neighborhood. Pharmacy near by for much needed cold bottles of water and midnight snacks.

I have been staying at Affinia (Lyden) Gardens for many years. The newest restoration has made the hotel even better and the new beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever found. This is a wonderful, quiet, perfectly located, small, charming hotel.
