Nice hotel. Pleasant people. Comfy.
Terrible staff
Check in was great. Nina at the front was very nice and accommodating. She helped us check in early when we arrived at 8am on a cross country flight. Everyone one in the rooftop bar and in the front were extremely nice.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Royalton. The rooms are large for NYC standards and the tub was huge! It’s walkable to the Empire State Building and lots of restaurants and a Starbucks! The staff was great - from check in, to baggage check, maid service, to even helping us hail a cab. Will definitely be back!
The staff was extremely helpful and nice.
The room was wonderful and the staff was delightful. Luxurious beds and a deep bathtub you could almost swim. Truly relaxing. The rooftop restaurant was underwhelming. Definitely explore the restaurants in the area instead. Everything else was perfection, though.
The front desk staff was underwhelming and not particularly helpful when I arrived. The room was fine, but the bed was lumpy and not well made and the bathrooms are a bit dated. The room served my purpose, but I had no desire to spend any additional time in it when I was not sleeping.
Liked: Central location. Nicely decorated rooms. Huge bathroom with standing shower and deep tub. Quite! Did not like: Towels were not fresh and crisp. Food choices and quality were not good at the Rooftop place.
The furniture was old and stained.
My windows in my room were filthy. They are doing a lot of construction in the area I guess but my view was obstructed not to mention my whole floor smelled like marijuana. Also be warned there is no coffee available to you in your room, you will be charged $3 plus tax per coffee unit that you use!
This is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We came for an anniversary weekend and from the second we stepped in everyone was so pleasant. They upgraded our room and it was huge for nyc and the cleanest that I’ve ever seen. We got the king suite. Super comfortable bed, huge deep shower/tub. They offer excellent and not too pricey room service, had a mini fridge and snack bar stocked so you didn’t always have to run out if you needed a drink. Great location next to a lot of great spots. Vallet service was quick and professional. We will definitely be staying here again!
Liked the location, cool color scheme. Food was lacking, entire floor smaller like week. Service was decent, but staff seemed a bit new to the game.
Clean, professional staff. It was a quiet place for a big city.
