Nice experience: clean room, good staff. However, didn't have a doorman which would have been helpful loading and unloading.

Room was small and an odd shape and very warm and the AC is turned off in the winter so it was too hot to sleep well

Great downtown location with tons to do in the vicinity. Easy accessibility to subway. Helpful staff. Some may find room sizes on the smaller side but i guess it is pretty standard for NYC

Amazing staff, clean rooms, great location! Car service was wonderful. Will definately stay here again.

The Duane Street Hotel was not only charming, but warm and inviting too. The staff (Joseph and Matthew) from the evening we entered the hotel worked to make sure we were comfortable and assist us with any notes we may need to get around in the city. Each time we left the hotel and returned we were addressed by our names, which was a nice touch. Although, the room was slightly small (most NY hotel rooms are very small) it was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location lended to very little noise from outside traffic. The hotel was filled, but we heard nothing from other guest. Tribeca was a wonderful neighborhood to be staying and convenient to shopping a attractions. The only concerns I would mention is that with the tight quarters of the bathroom, it would be nice to have a mirror in the sleeping quarters, so that a second person can continue to get ready there while the other guest is showering. This past Sunday, the young woman who was working the desk was not nearly as pleasant as Joseph, Matthew or any of the other staff. When asked if she could help us with tickets to tour the 9/11 Memorial she was short and seemed to be a bit agitated. Later in the afternoon as I was enjoying my tea in the lobby, I witness the same young woman being curt with another guest. She just didn't have the flare for guest interaction that your other staff has.

Duane Street Hotel is a hidden gem in a fantastic Tribeca location. Great vibe and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Highly recommended!

Loved this hotel. The staff could not have been nicer. Clean and comfortable. Great location close to the subway. Would stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, hardwood floors, comfy beds, outstanding staff that were helpful in every way even in getting us a cab, and centrally located near subway stations, Battery Park and the World Trade Center. We will stay there again!

Staff at Duane Street Hotel is beyond excellent - very helpful, courteous and professional. Enjoyed a perfect cocktail while we waited for our room and loved everything about our stay from checkin to checkout. Travelers not used to NYC hotels might be alarmed at the room size. Ours was really narrow and more than 2 suitcases blocked the path to the door. But having two queen beds in a Manhattan hotel totally makes up for it!

They are trying really hard but between bathroom problems, noise issues and small uncomfortable rooms, the hotel just isn't worthy of a good rating. Sorry.

I was in a second floor room with two beds. Was very disappointed that the restaurant was under renovation. But the worst part was the rumble from the subway, which runs all night but picks up significantly around 5 am making it almost impossible to sleep.
