I will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again. I thought this was a reputable company. I've stayed in hostels way better than this hotel. Upon arrival, an apparent homeless man was yelling in the hallways and the staff did nothing. There was another man - did not seem like a guest - roaming around the kitchen and front entrance. He mumbled when I said hello to him. In my room, food (pretzel) was on the floor, the toiler paper dispenser was taped to the wall, the kitchen, hallways, stairways, and elevator were ALL unsanitary. I found a former guest's jewelry on the floor and gave it to the staff. The hotel maids kept their carts in the hallway and woke me up. Constant noise from the maids was horrible. Their carts looked dirty and unorganized. I was called home early and was charged the entire booking instead of the per day rate. This is the first time in my life in which an hotel charged me for not being at the hotel. When I spoke to the manager, he was rude and yelling at me. I did not depart on the second day. I WANT my money back! My receipt is fraudulent! This is not a recommended hotel.

Requested 4 extra pillows and got 2 pillows without pillow cases. Mold in bathroom. Broken door handle.

It was good. Nice comfy bed n it was all cleaned up. I would stay again. The check in process was somewhat very slow but they were attentive and apologetic.

I love this hotel! The location was perfect for my trip to New York. The staff was awesome. I brought a large screen laptop to watch movies and it would not fit into the safe. The staff held it at the front counter. Thank you. They gave us extra towels. They called a taxi to the airport. Check in was quick and easy and the associate gave me a band-aid after I cut my finger. Breakfast was provided and the price was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again :)

Halls and elevator are dirty, trash on the floors. Breakfast was horrible, was in a perfect spot for me. Close to everything I had planned to do during my visit.

The Long Island City Days Inn is a great place to stay. Very near to the 7 train, it's convenient for any locations in New York. The staff were pleasant, courteous, and eager to please. I would definitely stay there again

Hotel is in a good location, has some parking, and the staff is nice. However the place is kind of a dump and not really worth the price. I was put in a smoking room when I had requested nonsmoking because nothing else was available. Spotted ants crawling around in the bathroom as well. Would be an okay option for one night if you can get a good deal, but in general I would not recommend this hotel.

Close to subway station and Manhattan. Neither luxury nor extra services, it is reasonable and standard hotel. Nice to save extra hundred dollars, instead of staying shabby hotel in Manhattan.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Days Inn near Queens Blvd., in Queens, NYC. My room was spotless and had a safe, mini frig, a microwave oven, and a 42" flat screen TV. My daughter lives nearby, so I plan on staying at the Days Inn many more times!

Considering the money, it was a decent hotel in New York. I didn't like the room for one reason - they gave us a basement room...very dark and uncomfortable.

Staff were obliging and the location was great being right near the metro. Room was not so good. it was down in the cellar with no access to fresh air. The airconditioning unit did not cope with the high temperatures on some days and the room was stifling. Room did not get made up on one day. The room was very small and located right next to the lift shaft and we were kept awake most nights with the noise from the lifts. The hallway outside the room was constantly jammed with the cleaner's trolleys as it appears there is no room allocated for them to be stored. Wouldn't stay there again

Room is clean. But it is too noisy because it is faced to Metro line. It is near the Metro Line 7 and quite convenient, The front desk is manned 24 hours.

My husband and I were looking a hotel in our first time in NYC. The hotel is just one block from the metro station and it tooks only 10 min to go to Times Square. There is a famousgrocery store next to the hotel wen you can buy fresh food. The staff will help you any time, the hotel offers free wifi, coffee in your room, mini refrigerator, and a great breasfast. The only bad thing we experience was that at night the clean staff left the dirty clothes jest next to the ice machine. If you wanna stay a good hotel for less money, you have to choose this hotel.

Well we mainly needed a place to sleep, as we were gone from 9am till midnight every day. This place was just that. It's location is great as you can take the 7 train right into grad central or Times Square, and it's right there by the hotel. pizza place around the corner is amazing! My only complaints would be the bed was very hard, and we had room 121 which is by the staircase door and lobby area. Also where breakfast is. It was so noisy! We woke up from the telephones at all hours, in the morning when people came through the stairway the door slamming made our door move so that was annoying! And the breakfast was nothing special! We actually skipped it altogether after the first day. But if you're looking to see the city, and just have a place to sleep and shower it works for that! Room was clean, no problems there at all!

Was an average experience, clean, small breakfast area.

It was a bad stay in this hotel. While booking there was no clear mention of the fact that it was a smoking room I booked. They gave me a room which was very bad. Even after requesting a lot, they didnt help me providing any other room . It was midnight and my first day in NY, so I chose not to venture out so late in night. Somehow I stayed in the room keeping my window and doors open. The room was unclean, AC broken and very stinking. Overall, one of the worst hotel I stayed in my life.

pros: - close to subway, times square is 20 mins away. - clean rooms. - basic amenities are okay. cons: - rooms are really small.

The room was very small. We could barely walk around the bed. Because we were "only staying one night" the staff put us in a very a very small basement room. I over heard the two staff members discussing which room to put us in. The window was level with the ground, so traffic noise was very noticeable. On the positive side, the room was clean and we were able to check in early and they did have guest parking. The continental breakfast was well stocked for what was offered.

I picked a particularly bad week to be in NYC and couldn't find anything under $200 for even a 2-star in Manhattan. Therefore, I looked for a hotel in Long Island City located right next to a subway stop. I found this hotel that is at the 33rd street stop. The location is great. Amenities befit a 2-star hotel. Can't store luggage upon checkout of the hotel. I can't believe the price I paid for a 2-star on Long Island City (!) but I had to be in town that week.

The best thing about hotel is its location from Subway (33 St Rawson ) and Queensboro Plaza. Within 15 minutes, you are at Times Square, NYC. 7 Eleven 24 hour store is in the adjacent building. The rooms are very small without the microwave. So, you need to go to kitchen area if you want to use microwave. If you want to store your luggage for few hours, hotel charges you around $50 for 3 hours. Thats very expensive.
