I requested another room because the first one was disgusting and not safe for my daughter because we had to exit the fire escape hallway to enter the room

It was small and outdated. There is an old television in the room.

- when I got to the room, the door was unlocked and open - bathroom didn’t have enough towels for 2 guests, as the room was booked. We called the front desk to request a towel, towel was ever brought. - the carpet floor had a wet spot on the side of the bed. Looked like someone puked and it was not clean by the hotel - Elevator was smelling like a frightening elevator to transport trash between floors - I could not access the internet through my tablet and the signal was very low on my phone. When I called front desk, he informs that it’s more compatible with phones. What’s the point to use phones and not tablets/laptops if you are staying for business trip? If I knew that refund was possible, I would have left the location. Unfortunately nothing would change on that night. Disappointed I wouldn’t like this review to be published, but it would be nice to address it to the department in charge to make improvements.

The tube had rust in it, the floors and provided towels were dirty.

This was such a disappointment. Wallpaper was pealing and falling off. Holes in the walls Furniture was old and shabby!! Bathroom had plaster falling off the walls. There was mold on the walls. Tub was painted and pealing. Flaked off whenever the water was turned on. Water would not stay a constant temp. Scalding to freezing. Upon checking in, I got two towels. No wash clothes, or floor mats. No wi-fi signal. No cable(except local news). The plumbing was awful. It was nothing like what was represented on your site. Absolutely should look into this. Bad for Orbitz

There was a really nice man whose job was to answer questions and he looked as if he could work security too...He told me he was originally from Georgia and ironically that is where I reside. He knew a lot about NY and took a lot of the guess work out of setting my timeline while I was there... He asked me if I liked my room and I am a really honest woman, so I had to tell him the room was dusty, a few roach bugs. The heat ould not be adjudted so had to use the A/C window unit to keep the room at 68. I had plent of hot water fot showers it was quiet at night... No fridge or microwave

The place is a dump. For $300 per night expected much more

The lady at front desk from 3-11 shift was a angel. My room was great and very accommodating !!!

It is a very old hotel but has been maintained well and the amenities are better than most. Some of the decorations from the past are quite interesting.

For the price I was expecting something more up to date. At the very least, I wa hoping more amenities would be included. The room was old with rusted furniture, the fitness center was just a treadmill, and the wifi wasn't even working in my room. The staff was okay for the most part, but about half the front desk employees were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. I stayed in roughly 4 other places in New York and felt that the days Hotel was vastly overpriced in comparison. Not only that, but the service was absolutely abysmal

This hotel should be torn down its so shabby and old. It looks, feels and is dirty with stains, ripped wallpaper, damaged window shades, moldy bathrooms, semi-working WiFi. Skeevy all around.

It was terrible, I stayed one more night and I ask for an upgraded room and they gave me the most dirty room beside that the bathroom was broke for $270. Very disappointing

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We would return.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff was rude at the front deak and management was impossible to get a hold of unless I was standing at the front desk demanding to speak with someone. We checked out early after 2 nights and I had to walk 20 blocks from my new hotel to this one in order to finally get a hold of management to cancel my reservation without fees because no one would answer the phone when I called. Rooms were filthy and horribly outdated. I can't figure out how this hotel manages to stay in business. I requested an extra blanket our first night and it was never delivered. We reserved a room with a refrigerator and microwave and there was nothing. We inquired with the front desk about a refrigerator and microwave; one staff person put in a call to have the refrigerator delivered and informed us no rooms have microwaves. The refrigerator was not delivered. We inquired again and another staff person said it was $25/night. I will never return to this hotel nor will I ever recommend it to anyone I know.

Door could not be opened. No refrigerator provided.

The maid service was spotty -- got towels of different sizes, sometimes didn't get bath mat for floor. Overall this property, which is quite old, is in poor shape. It is still a good value, given its location and the fact that there are so few hotels on the upper west side. So if you need/want to be in that neighborhood, this is what there is, and it's not so bad. The staff at the front desk is very good, efficient and helpful. They would not be out of place in a much nicer hotel.

Old room, Tube TV, Roaches, smoke filled hallways. Location makes up for all of that. Two blocks from Central Park. Subway right on the corner. 24 hour Duane Reade and Deli on corner.

Our bed did not have any type of blanket. After the first night stay, the housekeeping did not leave us any towels in the room. Our room was outside the ice machine and was very noisy.
