Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Herald Square

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel room was somewhat small but to be expected in NY. Hotel staff was nice but Michael the concierge was fantastic. Very personable and helpful in every way he could. 5th Avenue was closed due to Veterans Day celebrations but he was able to quickly coordinate transportation to La Guardian airport for my wife and I. Great service and a great team member.

Excellent experience. The bellhop, Jose, was amazing. The front desk staff was friendly and more than happy to accommodate. The room was clean and had a balcony which was amazing. I will be staying here on my next NYC trip.

location is great and always a good place to stay

Amazing view of Empire State Building outside our window..great location for food and shopping

We had a great stay at this hotel. View from the room of Herald Square and the Christmas windows at Macy's was fabulous. The staff was so courteous and helpful. The room was very clean. We checked in after midnight due to a delayed flight and we even received a room upgrade. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

While shopping at the largest department store in America(Macy's) the knowledge that my room was less than fifty yards away gave me the strength to endure my wife's two day shopping mission

Loved the location. Staff was very courteous the room looked modern and appealing. The lobby was one floor up from the ground floor with a convenience store and a Starbucks Did not use business center but was there also and apparently printing is free A few steps from a metro station and less than two blocks from Penn station and Madison Square garden...

We had a great time. The kind bed room fit 3 people. We had a roll out sofa for 1 and the king bed fit 2. The hotel was clean and check in was painless. Will definitely be coming back!

1st NYC experience. It was great and I would definitely return

My husband and I had a great experience in this hotel, we were planning this trip for many months in advance and even if the weather was not great the hotel improved our stadia a lot. We arrive to NY in a raining day and we went to storage our baggage to the hotel without expectations of an earlier check-in. The hosts was so kind and she looked for room availability and we have access to the room without extra charge. As we have had bad experiences with other hotels that had to pay for extra fees for every single thing, it was a nice surprise that here were not any fees for baggage storage, internet or resort fees. The location is perfect in the middle of everything plus the rooms are good size for being in NY. This is hotel when we go again to NY.

Bellman and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Good location to walk to Empire State Building and dinner. We stayed overnight before an international flight. Only negative was the garbage pickup on the street all night, sirens and noise made it not so restful for light sleepers. 2 adjoining rooms were very good for family of 6.

Nice clean room, steps away from subway. Numerous bars and restaurants near by. Blocks from Madison Square Gardens and the Empire State building.

This is my first stay in Marriott Courtyard and it was a very pleasant experience at a good price. The room is newly remodeled with modern style. It was clean and with reasonable size (some hotel rooms in NYC could be very small - the room I got in this hotel had very OK size). It does not have fancy facilities but it is at a convenient location.

Staff was really great and accommodating - I would definitely stay again and recommend!

Can't get much better in terms of value and location for a name brand hotel. Rooms are small, but nice and well maintained. Close to Penn Station, shopping, and Times Square. Definitely would stay there again.
