Courtyard by Marriott New York City Manhattan Midtown East

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Close to several attractions and subway station. 24 hr store right around the corner. Room was a really good size and very well maintained

Great hotel in Midtown! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was great. Only issue was that we have 5 family members but we're only left enough towels & washcloths for 3 people. We let our housekeeper know this but still only got 3. So each night when we got back to our room we had to request more. That would sometimes take up to an hour to receive. Overall, I would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Midtown.

Nice hotel, pleasant atmosphere and staff. Not too noisy or unpleasant area. Lots of local restaurants and cheap eats nearby for food and drink.

We had a good time. We walked all around mid-town Manhattan.

Mi estancia fue agradable . Estuve 5 noches y todo fue bien

All personnel very accommodating and very friendly.

Very close to Times Square but far enough away to be quiet at night.

5 of us shared this room and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was!! Everyone was friendly and accommodating and the overall cleanliness was quite impressive!! Most of what we did was within walking distance so that was a plus. We dinned (breakfast) at the NY Luncheonette on 50th St (which is practically around the corner) also highly recommend. I rate 5 stars for everything - my friends and I will remember this forever!!

Very nice room- quite large by Manhsttan standards. My only complaint is that the hotel has almost no lobby area. Upon arrival, I was told that my room would not be available for an hour. The hotel staff suggested that I could stay in the "extended lobby" on the 14th floor. However, when I got to the "extended lobby", I was barely able to find a chair to sit in while i waited for an available room.

We had 5 (three adults and two teens), so the two queens and foldout sofa bed worked well, and the room had lots of space to spread our things. The 12th floor lounge and breakfast cafe were both great. We used the lounge twice to eat a takeout dinner in comfort. Library area also has some interesting books. Good location for using the subway to get to downtown sights, and not too far to walk to theater district and Times Square. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Great value for the price.

Right outside of the metro station (line E), walking distance to 5th Ave, small lobby but with every service/microwave/vending machines for very basic essential, 24/7 Duane Reade right next door

20 min Walking distance to Times Square , Central Park , UN . Plenty good affordable places to eat. Relatively clean and safe area to walk back late night.

Close to everything. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely book here again.

I gave this hotel a 1 because I was charged $120 dollars for valet parking. normally its only $60 for 24 hours. I was not told I would be charged another $60 for going over $24. I think this is something they should mention ahead of time so people don't get into this situation. I will never use valet parking at this hotel again. probably wont stay here either.

Great location and room was much larger than we expected.

Beware there is no room service. Otherwise this is a great hotel. Every single person I encountered, at least ten, was simply delightful. I went to take a shower at 6:30 on Thursday evening and found a clogged shower drain, water halfway up my calves in no time. Called the front desk. In five minutes a charming guy came and snaked it or something and I had a fabulous shower in time for my 8:00 pm meeting. Excellent service, super helpful cooperative staff.

Wonderful hotel. Clean and comfortable, staff was ry polite and accomodating. The only downside is the prices of the hotel restaurant are a little on the steep side.

Great stay. Very clean. Rooms are big. Would stay again

This hotel is hands down the best kept secret in NYC. Clean, HUGE rooms, great staff, awesome little café, I can't say enough good about it. OH and - located right above Duane Reed, a Subway stop and around the corner from Sofia Wine Bar - another little gem. Planning a return right after I type this!

Everything went well with the exception of the room heater. There were occasions that the cold was too much. Otherwise, thanks!!
