I was shocked when we drove into the neighborhood. I did not feel safe. The room was disgusting. Carpet was filthy. When I walked on it I stuck to it! I could not believe that County Inn and Suites would even put their name on this building. I would think about ever staying in another "Country Inn and Suites" after this experience. Trash was always sitting outside of the hotel in the parking lot.

The hotel was a good place to stay for a visit in New York. Safe neighborhood in Queens with subway stop 2 blocks away. The room was good except food left in the fridge and a drawer. There was also a wet spot in the carpet I believe from the shower. Breakfast was good. Overall a good place to stay for the price.

I've stayed here everytime I've visited NYC but this may be the last. The hotel staff is great but it doesn't negate the fact the hotel is becoming extremely run down. It gets worse and worse each time we've visited in every way. You can tell money is not being reinvested into the hotel. Stains on the carpets and on the furniture in the lobby, on walls, etc. The free breakfast was barely available and most items are usually out of stock. However, it was definitely a decent place to just sleep at night. The bathroom was clean but not in prestine condition. We were out sightseeing everyday anyways. It was quiet at night as usual.

The windows are very old so you can hear every car driving by. The elevator sounds like a electric saw is cutting wood. Every night until the last when I realized it was the elevator I thought they were doing construction all night long. Also the towels are very grey and had stains on them. The last thing you want to do is grab a towel to wipe your face after your shower and see a big brown stain. So nasty!

When I arrived the first day the staff gave us s big headache and cleaning persons get to the room very late , never bring the towels I have to ask for its all the time .

The room floor had stains. The toilet seat was falling off. Their was no parking i could go on and on. But instead i just wont ever use this hotel again

"High speed " internet is did not work most of the time. "White" towels are grayish. Staff don't smile, they seem working. Room was nice view was ok. Housekeeping staff don't do their job properly. Water system makes horrific noise. Checking in and out was easy. Price is too much for what you get.

I would have liked if there were curtains in the room that would completely shut and I wish I did not have a ripped shower curtain.

Hotel is clean and neighborhood felt safe. Staff is a little on the cold side. I thought the room price was high for Queens but not sure. Just one block walk to the subway station that will take you to Manhattan in less than a ten minute ride. Restaurants/stores are not close by.

Pros: Facilities are in good shape, our room was clean and well maintained, wifi signal was very good and excellent location (~5min walk to Greensboro metro stations) Cons: Well, they serve breakfast, but don't expect it to be delicious. The area is a bit shabby and be a little careful walking by yourself at night.

This hotel is slightly out of the way from the main tourist attractions, but those attractions are easily accessible from the subway, making the hotel a quick 20 minute ride on multiple subway lines from the center of Manhattan. I enjoyed that the hotel was a break from the crowds in Manhattan. Staff was very nice and the breakfast was reasonable (I liked that they had a coffee machine where you could set the strength of your brew). It was also convenient, flat $25 for a taxi to LGA.

If you are looking for a cost effective way to travel to NY then this would be a great place to go. it's in Queens so you out of the busy area.

The price you pay is expensive, but it was in the perfect location for where I needed to be. I will stay again but the price was high. There were a few nicer hotels that were way cheaper with parking.

Staff very attentive, rooms very clean and the location is very convenient because it's close to transportation and only a few stops from Manhattan. The area of the location is quite at night but very busy during the day. Parking is a problem since there are many business around the area and mostly they are factories. But its very clean

It was good to stay cause it's like 10 min away from the midtown , train service was near by , the room where near n Clean , the service where upto the standard , overall a good stay n the hotel is upto the standard

nice stay in new york

great location but 1-2 star hotel.

I've stayed here everytime I've visited NYC but this may be the last. The hotel staff is great but it doesn't negate the fact the hotel is becoming extremely run down. wouldn't stay here again

The windows are very old so you can hear every car driving by. The elevator sounds like a electric saw is cutting wood. Every night until the last when I realized it was the elevator I thought they were doing construction all night long. Also the towels are very grey and had stains on them.
