Enjoyed location with Starbucks on site and excellent Restaurants in the vicinity. Subway excess cross street.

Great location, fifty feet to great restaurants and next to a Starbucks, walk 100 feet and you can get some of the great NYC pizza by the slice! Place is really cool and hip, must have just had a make over!

There wasn't much of a lobby and the rooms were super small... But we were barely in our room so it was fine.

We stayed from 20th-23rd. Upon entering the hotel the doors they have are just a single door that fits one person at a time you have to push it open. The hotel has been around for ever so I wasn't expecting modern to new technology. As we entered our 7th floor Newley renovated room that faced the street, it was a bit small but that's a typical NYC hotel room. The only complaint i had was the bathroom.... where do I start.. the shower head is terrible placement, the knives thay control the water is indeterminable as o where the hot and cold was correctly it was a balancing act to keep the water at a correct comfort temp. The door opens in ward so make sure you stand in the corner as you turn the scolding hot water on becaus you can't reach around the door to do it from the outside. Other than the bathroom I would recommed it to a friend. Would I stay here again? No as I normally stay in Time square and the commute was a. It long for my taste but very reasonable for the price. There is a Starbucks on the bottom floor outside. There is a red 123 uptowm and downtown so you can plan your trip accordingly. It's a 1hr train ride to JFK 2.75$ per person (metro fare) and a exit fee of 5$ at the JFK air train.

Everyone was really nice!!! and they are great at keeping secrets... lol booking this hotel again for my birthday get away

When I booked this room I looked on your website which totally displayed something else, the rooms were literally closet size, with no room to walk around. The website was nice and made me want to stay ay the facility but became very disappointed once I actually got there. There are also renovations going which they should have mentioned. Room was nice for toddler.

I like this hotel although this is so small space . Which look like Hong Kong and Japan hotel. I do not care how big is it . I just care how convenient to visit the favor place and transportation. The hotel for me just sleep. And then it is easy to find the good food around this area.

Convenient close to places to see. Room was tight short of space No refrigerator .

The cleanliness and friendliness made this hotel a nice find! The staff was super helpful and kind. The room was small, but charming. They were making some upgrades so the noise throughout the day were a bit loud. Overall, I was very pleased and would be happy to return.

Be sure to get a room that has been remodeled. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************88

Although it's light on amenities, the Cosmopolitan is a charming, clean and efficient hotel. It's well located (a subway terminal is literally across the street) among a variety of restaurants and sites. The staff is accommodating and clearly takes pride in their product. Would stay again!

The hotel is very convenient for a lower Manhattan location. Easy walking access to the memorial and other lower downtown amenities. Breakfast was close by and dinner options were plenty. I choose this hotel for its location close to a business destination and will stay here again.

Someone called my room saying they are calling from front desk and needed my credit card details and I gave them all the information they asked. I realized it was a scam when I called the front desk asking if they just called my room asking for my credit card details. I spoke to the manager about it.

For a last minute trip the hotel was nice and great for the money. Was clean and comfy. Just the noise level was a bit more than I expected but overall a good deal

Stayed for a long weekend. Small rooms, nothing luxurious but clean and close to everything near Tribeca. Helpful front desk staff. If you want a reasonably priced hotel and aren't going to spend a lot of time in your room, then this is a good choice.

The Cosmopolitan fits your needs and is located in a great spot for walking around to sites, shopping, entertainment, etc. The room is small, but that was expected. It has what you need and nothing more, which is good, as you should not visit NYC and sit in your room. Great rates and wonderful staff. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at this hotel 4th of July weekend while visiting friends that just moved here. I booked the hotel last minute as we were unable to stay at their place. The location was great. One of the main things we wanted to see was the 9/11 memorial. It was just a short walk. The 1-2-3 train was right outside the door and was a fairly easy trip to get uptown and to Times Square. When I booked the room I reserved a standard double. Our flight had arrived in NYC at 10 am (prior to check in) The staff offered to show us a loft room and if we liked it we could switch rooms without any extra charge and check in at 10 am as compared to 3pm. The room worked well for my boyfriend and I since we are short and fairly small. I wouldnt recommend the room for someone older or tall. The loft ceiling is only about 6 feet tall and the steps are steap.

Great location, fairly quiet even though our room was just across the hall from the stairway entry door, room was very small and would have been nice to have in-room coffee, easy walking distance to everything we were there to see (did not need auto), toured World Trade Center Memorial and Museum--very well done and incredibly honoring to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attack and those who so bravely worked to get as many as possible out; walked to Empire State Building-toured to 102nd floor, wonderful tour, very informative, the audio tours are great for both the World Trade Center Memorial and the Empire State Building, continued to walk on to Central Park (not a good day with all the noise from the parade) returning to the hotel via Battery Park. Really a great trip!

The Cosmopolitan has a great location with the 1-2-3 Chambers St. subway located right outside it's front door. The staff was very friendly. We arrived early and were allowed to check-in which was great. The room we had - 2 doubles - was rather small, as was the bathroom, but it was clean and updated with a flat screen TV, desk area and nice linens. The view from our 5th floor room looked out onto a brick wall 4 feet away - so next time I would request a room with a view. The bathroom had a nice little window in the shower that actually opened which was nice to let the steam out. The drainage in the sink and the tub could have been better - patience was needed for complete water evacuation. There was a safe, for valuables, in the free-standing chiffarobe, which we didn't use but was nice to have. There's no coffee maker in the room, but there is a Starbucks on the 1st floor. I think the best part of staying here is the closeness to the Subway which was our exclusive mode of transportation while in New York. All in all, it was a extremely satisfactory stay for our long Friday through Monday weekend.

Perfectly located in TriBeCa - Staff was professional and accommodating Hotel was impeccable The staff was the same throughout the stay - familiar smiling faces Free wii fii and access to two desk top computers with a printer Star bucks next door subway access across the street and at the end of the block Whole foods around the corner The cosmopolitan is a must stay if you need a clean safe comfortable efficient and professional staff. Jenny - at the front desk - was fabulous Thank you Cosmoploitan for assisting in completing a perfect trip! And a perfect view of the freedom tower The list of plus plus pluses keeps going Walking distance to china town little Italy and soho
