Comfort Inn & Suites JFK Airport

Overall nice stay. Staff was pleasant & shuttle was great. Good value for the dollar

I actually got this hotel mixed up with another hotel I had stayed in near JFK. Getting the shuttle from JFK was terrible process but probably JFK policy. Hotel shuttle driver didn't help with luggage into hotel. Hotel area was disappointing and difficult to get food at night. Heating system was outdated. Phone did not work. Staff was friendly but most helpful staff was person who checked us out and helped with luggage, Will not go there again.

For a no smoking hotel the first room smelled like cigarettes. The very friendly staff member changed my room. The other room also smelled like smoke but slightly more bearable so I stayed. But somewhere around 1am someone, who clearly had a key tried twice to enter my room. Thank God I had the bolt on. Can we say, now I have PTSD!!!

Had to wait 20 min at airport for van.....and ride back in van in the a.m. was like he was driving crazy on purpose. Room was clean but in halls was dirty and dark.

This hotel was in a convenient location for one night layover in New York. Easy to access from the airport but my taxi driver got lost and found out how to go there after more than one hour. Nice staff by the way.

Chose this motel as it was an affordable option for a quick trip to NYC for the weekend. It's pretty much what I expected for an airport hotel. A bit rundown and dated, but I was ok with this since the room was only a place to sleep. Can't say much for the room itself except it was definitely not the worst place I slept, but it wasn't exactly what I would consider average either. The room came with a continental breakfast which honestly wasn't that great, but they did have a waffle maker which was appreciated. Other than the price, one of the main reasons I chose this motel was its relative proximity to a subway station...a little over 1/2 mile, which worked well enough for me going to and from the city. The form is now asking me Would I recommend this hotel to a friend? Basically it depends on the friend. I would definitely recommend it to some and wouldn't even think about mentioning it to others. In short, if you need a cheap place to crash (NYC Standards) and aren't too picky, give it a shot.

It was great to spend a day away from home love the quietness

This hotel is ok if you have to stay a night around JFK. Parking with a car could be a problem.

Our room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose it due to it being near the subway and to get shuttled to JFK. Also appreciated the good breakfast each morning.

all the staff seem unmotivated and unfriendly...somebody removed the hung-out DND signs and the cleaning lady came knocking at both our rooms at 11 am to ask us whether she could clean the room. When asked to respsct the DND sign, she said she didn't see any sign.

The staff is always very friendly and attentive to your needs.

nto crazy about location but staff was very courteous

Nice place to stay close to jfk.......love that place ............... Great stufff

The hotel location for the value (with my orbucks discount) was great. We needed just a quick layover to rest from our trip from Europe that was close to JFK with a complimentary hotel shuttle. The Comfort Inn & Suites JFK Airport was exactly what we needed and expected. Would recommend for anyone needing a layover hotel without paying big New York prices….truly a good value.

Very good in generally and most facilities available . We strongly recommend this hotel , if the hotel management be flexible to avail late check out between 3-6 Pm with 50% rate considering flights time . Expect pProviding service for shopping

The front desk staff was great! Our party was arriving from abroad and across the US with some difficulty! The staff was very patient and helpful with my inquiries and accommodation when we were caught up in meetings in Manhattan until late evening of our checkout date. I was hesitant about the parking arrangements as lot parking is extremely limited and you may get stuck around the block or further away...but we had no issues!!! Despite my personal reservation, the staff's assessment was right on about security, local travel, and arrival/departure! Definitely worthy of another visit!!!

Don't expect anything spectacular for $100 hotel room. Overall actually better than what I expected .

conveniently close to airport and brooklyn boroughs

Nice quiet comfortable location with a shuttle to JFK and great staff

Contrary to most other airport hotels with a shuttle service at JFK you have to call them to be picked up. All other hotels I have stayed at there had a shuttle running. Not knowing this I stood in the cold waiting for over an hour. When I called a rude man answered with no excuses what so ever that I had stood in the cold that long. He was even ruder when I got to the hotel to check in. The reception was empty for 15 mins when I got there and the horribly rude receptionist then proceeded to punish me (as I was annoyed) with giving me the worst room on the ground floor. Long black hairs on the blanket and just a funky smell. I slept in my clothes and didn't take a shower. I was just so uncomfortable. If I hadn't brought my own ear plugs I would not have slept. I think the horrible night receptionist had his friends over for a party. A lot of loud talking and banging outside my room. The thing is that this hotel was not cheaper than any of the other hotels I've stayed at. I have stayed at about 4 other lower budget hotels by JFK and I have always been very positively surprised of the value for money. This time was a total disaster. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. It's to the point of me not even feeling bad about posting this review. Oh, and this night was MY BIRTHDAY!!
