Club Quarters Hotel, Wall Street

Restaurant/pub in the same building is the best thing about the hotel.

The room was not that clean. Elevators seemed old.

You can not beat the price here at club quarters, great value for the room. Within a block to the subway, very convient location. Just wish they would put more then one wash cloth and drying towel in the bathroom.

Needed a place in short walking distance from client offices. I expected small room size, given Manhattan location; as expected a Full bed (not King) filled most of floor space, with just enough room left for a comfy chair by the window and a working desk (with plenty of desktop outlets) to one side. A small closet and cubbies built into headboard side tables, so limited storage for clothes, but fine for a 2-night stay. Outlets on side tables for easy re-charging. Style of furnishings & finishings was modern/minimalist, clean lines. Good experience for 2-night business stay, some work-in-room but mostly away from it during the day. Staff service experience was mixed - young lady at check-in gave very good advice on dining and a nearby wine shop for a client gift. A desk staffer the next day, when it was raining out and I asked "can you call me a cab" was essentially useless - called some ride service that would have been an excessive wait, and then didn't actually request the service even though I acknowledged the wait. I just walked out in the (light) rain and flagged down a cab within a minute. Housekeeping did a good job. Bottom line - I *would stay again* for a similar short business trip - which is 95% of my travel to NYC.

Good location in Wall Street near some trains, Battery Park. Hotel is clean and simple

Friendly. Ordered room service once. Was fast and delicious

Great staff but just a really shabby establishment.

Upon check-in,I was given a letter that stated there would be no hot water between 8:00 p.m. that night and 8:00 a.m. the next morning and no water at all from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. After a long, hot day walking around lower Manhattan, we could not shower when we got back to our room. They said it was because of construction across the street and out of their control. Well, then they should have notified their guests for that night and given them the option of changing hotels before they came to check in -- not at the last minute. The letter was dated the previous day, so I know they knew at least that far ahead. Also, on Orbitz, I picked the option for a queen bed, but upon arrival, I was told there would be a $20 upcharge for a queen bed. Rooms need rehab.

Good hotel for those that need a room for a night or two and don't need a lot of space. It is a little dated (as is much of Manhattan), but they do a good job at keeping it clean. The fitness room had a decent selection of options too. No breakfast served, but plenty of places to grab a bite in the area.

Overall nice experience. Disappointed there was no bathtub, only shower in room. Very happy with staff except Day of checkout, while checking out staff at desk by name Seaira was very rude.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are small but clean. They got a water machine on every floor for you to fill-up your water bottler. The hotel is in great location. Its walking distance to everything in New York.

Nice and convenient place to stay close Times Square

1h after a date err on reservation they would not alter. ONE HOUR ONE DAY. Kindness goes a long way I will not return or recommend and will spread the word

Amazing location. So close to everything. Staff was super friendly at all hours. The kicker was that espresso machine though. 24 hours of caffeine was everything I needed to keep the vacation alive. I will be back here for sure!

Very convenient, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced

Very quiet room. Small but efficiently designed. The drinks and snacks in the lobby were nice--saved a few trips to the grocery store (and given the room didn't have a fridge, it was helpful to have cool drinks).

This is our third stay at this hotel. It did not disappoint, once again. The location is super for a business or pleasure traveler, with multiple subway lines within a five minute walk, including the sparkling new Fulton Center. Staff is pleasant enough, though did not interact with them too much. The hotel is in an older building but the rooms are very modern. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Our room was well appointed and quiet, though rather small. We've gotten a small room on each of our three visits, but this is Manhattan, and you can't really compare to other cities in this regard. We are budget travelers and spend most of our time roaming the city rather than requiring hotel amenities. We got a great, quality hotel experience at a budget price.

This hotel has a very masculine vibe which I did not really resonate with. It felt sterile. It was perfectly clean but the room was a strange combination of extremely spacious in some places and very cramped in others. The layout was very odd. My bathtub had a drain that did not close so that I could not take a bath. I had to ask the front desk three times before it was finally fixed. The staff was very friendly but I did not love the place. The location is handy. My plans changed two weeks before my arrival in NYC, and I would have liked to amend the reservation, which most hotels permit, if this occurs 24 hours in advance. If I had made any changes, I would have forfeited the entire payment for the room. This does not seem right. I will never book a hotel through Orbitz in the future, if that is their policy. It might have been specific to this hotel. But that lack of flexility is not reasonable.

Better room this time than last but still an old building with very small rooms and maintenance issues. I will say they FINALLY got the coffee machine fixed in the lobby. It was 'temporarily out of service' for months. It is a nice perq but doesn't make up for how much less you get for your money than down the street at a couple of other options in the same price range. Front desk people are generally nice and during the week they have fresh fruit and some snacks in the lobby. Still wish they would have them available on the weekends but so far no.
