Great apartment for longer stay. Good location in FiDi and friendly staff.

Nice hotel with all the amenities you need, the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, hotel stuff always friendly, the only issue, it does not has a table for eat and is necessary in a room with kitchen. Also is near to different subway lines, shops like Century 21, 9/11 Memorial and markets for all your needs.

The hotel was amazing!! Room was incredible!! Clean and spacious!! The hotel staff were beyond incredible!! Super nice and conversational!! Short walk to the subway too!!

The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and things to do in NYC. They were particularly attentive and remembered to ask my son about his daily activities and whether he enjoyed them. They even listened to his stories about Comic Con with interest. Thank you for making him feel appreciated!

Good, clean, safe, comfortable. Great location for work or visit downtown, Wall St, Pace Univ area... great, welcoming, friendly, polite staff - any time of day or night any staff I saw was extremely nice and respectful. Rooms large, clean, well furnished. Good wifi. Coffee on the roof is a really nice advantage. I would suggest bottled water in the rooms (my only suggestion). There is a kitchen area in the room but I did not use it. Very large bathroom. Lots of room and light. Nice stay. Competitive prices. I would stay again if in the area. Thank you

I would definitely consider staying at the AKA again when I'm in NY. There are a few things I would suggest in making this place a 5star hotel in my book. For example, the curtains that look out the window were very transparent, making one feel someone is looking through your window and hard to sleep with so much light coming from the adjacent buildings. In addition, there is tile cawlking residue all over the bathroom floor and walls (messy work from the contractor). Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a warm welcoming staff and a considrably large room for NY standards. I just would have thought that for the price management would acknowledge and address these small details.

Compared to other hotels the rooms at aka Wall St. are big (there are exceptions nearby with even larger rooms at about the same price). The building sits atop a subway line and you can notice the trains especially on a lower floor - relatively quiet otherwise (at some nearby options the garbage trucks come through loud and very early). They used to have complimentary coffee in the lobby but have moved it to the rooftop lounge, which is inconvenient at best. The reception people are great and they call you to make sure your suite is to your liking but they recently stopped providing daily housekeeping and although every room has a Keurig you need to bring your own K-cups. The kitchen is good enough but, again, there is at least one nearby property with a better kitchen at about the same price point (has a small conventional oven, bigger dishwasher, and provides coffee to make in your room daily).

Stayed 3 nights. Arrived mid morning, but unable to get a room until standard check-in time. Staff was great throughout my stay!

Financial District hotel rates are very high. Other hotels nearby charging similar rates have rooms that are significantly smaller in buildings that are significantly older. Having an almost full kitchen (no conventional oven) including flatware, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, etc. is great if you want to avoid eating restaurant food every day. Plenty of TV channels on big flat screens. Convenient to all lower Manhattan attractions and the subway.
