This property can rightfully be described as delightfully eccentric. The staff was unfailingly gracious and helpful. The location proved to be wonderful for a first visit to Sydney, a 20 minute walk up Pitt St to Circular Quay, a 5-minute walk from St. James Station. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The rooms are quiet, with soundproof windows and quiet air handlers. The restaurant proved to be quite good, and the avocado toast with poached egg became our breakfast staple.
