Very nice owners and breakfast. Rooms are kind of spartan, and not well lighted.
Had a short visit to Waterford - just one night. We made the mistake of not letting the owners know we were going to be a bit late - that was our fault, I think it is something to remember, these are homes that people live in and we should be considerate of arrival times etc... Overall it was a great experience and the breakfast was also a great start to the day - compliments to the chef.
Susan goes out of her way to make sure each guest is well taken care of. Everything is clean and neat. Little touches - sweet china pattern in the breakfast room, for example, were everywhere. the view is amazing.
One of our best stays in Ireland in terms of accommodation and warm welcome by the owners. I would highly recommend this place and would like to stay here longer. A spacious room with all the comforts of home.

Thank you for your review and your comments . We are glad that you enjoyed our breakfast in which we try to have available to our guests as much of the fine foods produced locally as possible. We are disappointed that the lighting in the rooms was not as bright as you might have expected, but we have tried to tone down the lighting for the comfort of our guests.
