Our first non smoking room smelt like an ash tray and had no shower curtain. Our next room had a weird stench to the sheets on the bed. Really weird place man

We arrived very late but the staff was pleasant to deal with. The hardest part was finding the location. The map attached to the confirmation email led us to a VERY UNSAVORY area of town.

Went to the N.O. to visit family and stayed at this hotel, giving it the benefit of the doubt because its an older hotel. Its worth the money because of the location and the beds were very comfortable and huge. no fridge or microwave in my room but all in all decent room.

There were a few nefarious characters abound, but not totally unsafe. Their breakfast was impressive. It had waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I'd stay again for the price.

The hotel was a bit hard to find and the hotel looked hidden away. So it was like a maze trying to find the entrance. The room was clean and everything else was clean. One night my family did experience a gun shot that occurred while we were heading to our room. That event scared us and seeing if the staff heard anything but no one came out.

On our first night, we heard a gunshot. Second night, there was a party in one of the rooms. The hotel is located in a bad area. You will be greeted with graffiti at the entrance. The hotel is fenced in. That should give you a clue on the crime rate in this area.

This quick getaway almost ended when we arrived! The carpeting in the room was gross, stained and smelly. The chairs and closet were broken. There was an unexplainable reddish substance outside our room that grew and morphed daily. But the worst part was the other patrons of the hotel. Seedy and sketchy are words that I believe best describe it. We didn't even bring our bags to the room yet, when we heard extremely angry yelling from the balcony across the hall. This went on for our entire three days-- day and night. The girl who checked us in was delightful and the breakfast was good.

I have never not stayed in a hotel i booked until now. It was not close to the french quarter at all, not even close, and that isnt the bad part. I walked past a vacant room on my way to the vending machines and it was HORRIBLE. The carpet looked like it hadnt been vaccuumed in months, it smelled gross, it had this giant iron-shaped burn mark in the carpet, and at any minute we thought we were goi.g to see rats flood out of the door. Also, outside on the air conditioner unit was a giant dead cockroach, like ths size of a skateboard. There was no way i was stepping foot inside one of these rooms, and i would not have felt safe in the ghetto neighborhood as a tourist either. I would give it negative stars if i could!

The hotel, actually a motel, was in the middle of an abandoned area. My friend said he felt like we were in a breaking bad episode. If you can't find it off the highway, it's because it is hidden behind a fallen Wendy's sign. No one came to clean our rooms. The review mentioned it was 3 miles from the airport...the private jet airport. Pay the extra $30-40 and stay somewhere much, much nicer.

DID NOT STAY - CONTESTING THIS HOTEL, WHICH IS ACTUALLY A MOTEL. DID NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Went to look at the room. Not the worst condition, but the room was in access to the outside lot, which was surrounded by closed and abandoned buildings. We took pictures of the condition.

The rooms were mediocre at best. With cracks in the walls and ceilings. The lighting left alot to be desired and was far to dim for my liking. The area was "interesting" to say the least and our room was close to a gas station where people decided the need to "bump" their loud music. Which woke me several times. Our hotel key was deactivated in between the two days we were their for no reason. So when we arrived back to our room late I had to go get the key "re-charged" for that night. Overall I have stayed at other hotels in the new orleans area and I will never again sacrifice quality and sense of safety to save a couple of dollars. And no I am not an older person who needs dead scilence to sleep or is paranoid for no reason. If you have a family I recommend looking elsewhere.

The staff was very nice & helpful.

Absolutely terrible neighborhood. Rooms were old, large and somewhat comfortable. Quite a distance from down town. Was told less than it was. Was not worth the price.

Be careful, it is the 8400 I-10 Service Road, not the other one near the French Quarter. It was ok for us, what we really needed: a clean, not expensive overnight place to stay.

it was ok

There was a huge party at the gas station right next to the hotel. We were informed that it was like that every night. All night long we could hear car stereos so loud that it would shake the bed. You could walk outside and see prostitutes walking around being extremely loud and saying some really nasty things.
