Radisson Hotel New Orleans Airport

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Near the airport, a nice bar, a reasonable restaurant and comfortable beds with dark shades. What more do you want.

After a long travel day it was an easy shuttle, check in and great sleep!

Great price. Right by the airport, but the flying planes don't disturb much. Free parking, which is a huge plus in New Orleans. about 20 mins from French quarter so you have to drive into town each morning if you're there for tourist stuff.

Nice hotel isolated from much of everything. It is near the airport however, the airport noise is not an issue. What is the issue is if your room is located on the west side of the hotel, there is heavy construction semi-truck traffic through out the night. Loud diesel engines reving and horns honking will make you sleep deprived. Other than that, the room it self was OK. It could use a fridge though. Everything west of the hotel appears deserted. We did not use any hotel services nor we used the small pool they have. Their exec room is basically the same thing as a regular room. The only difference is that instead of a second bed, you get a sofa.

Front desk staff was not flexible. We arrived at 10:30am and they made us wait in the lobby until 2pm to check in. The hotel was not booked. It was frustrating with a 6 year old and a weeks worth of luggage for 3 sitting in a hotel lobby for almost 4hours. Extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a nice room the other stays was quite so it worked out perfect stay

Hotels at the New Orleans airport change names constantly and it's really confusing. We thought we had booked a room at the large Radisson we once stayed at near the Denny's in Metairie, but we actually found ourselves reserved at a small hotel that used to be the Country Inn and Suites in Kenner. This location offers a very different experience from a large, busy, impersonal airport hotel. It feels like a boutique hotel. The staff is warm, charming, welcoming and personable. They see to your every need no matter what time of the day or night it may be. At checkout, it was mentioned that this hotel is the smallest in the entire Radisson chain, so perhaps that's why they are able to go the extra mile for their guests. We hope we can stay at this location again in the future and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Surroundings are not that attractive and sort of noisy mornings and evenings at peak airline travel. These are the only negatives, every thing else is top notch about this hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, nice pool, work out room, decent bar and restaurant are all a plus. You are getting a Cadillac for the price of Ford.

Was allowed to do late check out after letting them know that visiting New Orleans to do Marathon and Marathon finish will be around 12pm! Friendly staff- on the day of arrival, reached hotel around 1055pm and the restaurant was closed. Manager spoke to the chef and asked to get dinner for me. Felt awesome since I was tired and in no mood to go downtown. Friendly staff and great experience ..

The room is quite fine, clean, and comfortable for a business traveler. The food and service in the restaurant, both for dinner and the breakfast buffet, are quite poor. There are no food options in walking distance from the hotel.

Close to airport a big plus! Staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave a warm welcome! I truly felt like a valued customer! Will definitely stay here whenever I fly out of NOLA!!

Traveled with an infant, and the front desk lady gave us an early check in without hassle. It may be a small request , but it meant a lot to these weary roadtrippers. Breakfast was quite filling too.

We travel frequently to New Orleans and have stayed in several hotels. This by far is best in terms of location, safety and saving money. Clean rooms, friendly staffs and a great breakfast.

Best hotel to stay if you have an early flight. I've tried all surrounding hotels and you can't beat this one.

Although the lobby was nice, I felt disappointed in the room. The pillows were like little bricks, there were no blankets on the beds, the ceiling needed repair, and there was hair in the bathroom sink. It was close to the airport (main reason for our stay). When I pay $100, I expect more.

Booked this for my boss for a one night business stay. He said is was a great value and perfect for what he needed. I have booked this hotel twice now for him.

It was truly worth the $$. Not bad ,clean, however the last day we were there they ran out of towels???? Really & our room was not cleaned .Overall it's was okay for last min, only took 15 min to get to Canal st!

You can't beat the price and free shuttle to airport! This was the perfect place to stay the last night of Mardi Gras!

The front desk people, the shuttle driver and the wait staff were all quite nice. The manager was extremely rude to the couple ahead of us trying to register. They had bought their room online, and he was changing the fees - The room was registered in one name and paid for by another person in the party and he kept using that to tell them he couldn't help them.. They were becoming quite frustrated that he was not being more helpful - and I could understand their frustration. He wound up calling one of the group a name. Someone in a position of authority working with the public needs training in people skills. I felt bad for the couple.

GREAT value! The room had a sofa, which is critical for me. Due to a bad back, I am unable to sleep on a bed. The sofa was perfect. Plus I did NOT hear 1 jet landing or taking off even though the hotel is adjacent to the airport.

Dear Guest-Thank you for taking the time to review. We apologize for your inconvenience. Check in time is 3pm and we try our best to accommodate earlier check in. Many factors determine the earlier check in such as previous nights occupancy and guests check out time. Although it would seem that the hotel looks quiet, guests have up to 11am to check-out. The rooms have to be cleaned, made ready and inspected to brands standards and only then made available to our guests.
