The location was very convenient to Canal Street and the French Quarter, and that was huge since we never rent a car when we visit New Orleans. The property is one room with the bathroom behind the door you see in the picture. The bathroom could use a couple of towel racks, there was only a hook on the bathroom door. The one room which included the bed could use a lamp on each side of the bed for reading before sleep. There was no coffee table or small table on which to do a little computer work. Just a small table maybe at the foot of the bed and an additional chair (there was only one) would have been nice. We enjoyed the back porch although the plastic Adirondack chairs were flimsy and uncomfortable. The small back yard consisted mostly of mowed weeds, and the fence along the alley was in bad shape. Soda and beer cans littered the alley. We has a huge surprise in watching a raccoon with a baby on the roof of the house across the alley. Would we stay here again? Actually, yes. With a fence repair, litter patrol, and a few small enhancements to the property as mentioned above, we would.
