Terrible hotel with terrible expenses . Was very cold at night , yes it was window heater , but huge noise will come out if you turn on . Also , without any hot water , tea , or coffee . It was like a worse motel ...

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE hotel! Do not ever stay here!!! I chose this hotel because of convenience but I may have well stayed anywhere else in the area. They never advised before that they were doing repairs on the hotel and no complimentary breakfast will served at the hotel. Rather, guests had to line up like homeless people at a food truck that was always very late. Worse, the breakfast was extremely poor. I received one pancake and a very small piece of scrambled egg. When I spoke to the hotel staff about it, I was shocked at the response - It was complimentary and I can have it or not have it. Up to me. It was all very humiliating and I paid for breakfast elsewhere because of the shoddy and callous treatment. The rudeness of hotel staff did not end there. Overall their approach was very condescending and there was absolutely no warmth in their rapport with guests. Finally, the room was not cleaned properly. I met litter on the carpet floor and that stayed there for 2 days out of the 6 that I was there. The bathroom was not cleaned properly either as on my 4th day I realized that there was a huge glob of someone else's hair on the floor at a corner. I initially thought it was a bad paint job until I shifted it with my feet. That means it was there before I checked in. I urge everyone to stay away from this nasty hotel. I will never again stay there! Never!!!

Our stay was supposed to include breakfast, but we were not served breakfast every morning, and we were tested like we were inconveniencing them for asking about it. We asked for our sink to be unclogged and our shower head to be fixed since it barely had water coming out of it two days in a row, but they were not fixed. They were stingy with the towels and the bedding was lacking the normal blankets. And the worst part was when I brought it up to the front desk one of the staff members was so rude and not accommodating in anyway shape or form. I asked to speak with management, but she informed me management was not in and she had no idea when they would be in. However, I was able to contact management by phone, they told me they were in fact on site when we asked for them. They offered to comp a future room, but I will never stay at this hotel again, free or not.

The staff was great, helpful and friendly.Yhe breakfast bar was a plus as well

Very convenient to college area, street car, and the staff was very friendly. Day shift and evening shift.

Good hotel, Front desk evening help was GREAT. Rooms where nice. Had to kill a Roach the last night in the bathroom area, That was not good. Great Breakfast.

Room was dirty, stains on curtains and chairs. After cleaning ladies vacuumed our room on 2nd day 2 lamps on same switch no longer worked. Door stuck bad so we had to use shoulder to push it in and open it. The tip of the iron was broken off and snagged my shirt. Breakfast was OK, location was good. Mr. Eds next door was amazing.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Nayana, the night security guard. We came in very late and she pointed us in the right direction and was very friendly.

Room was under construction, dusty and carpet stained with paint. No refrigerator (Had to """ beg"" not (ask) for one to put medications in, No microwave, waited 2 days to get one, had to wait 3 days to get a clean ice bucket after calling so many times and walking to the front desk, had to wait 4 days before I got a privacy shade for the window, staff nice but not competent to fulfill my needs, made it like doing us a favor to provide necessities. Bathroom Sink did not have a plug, asked for one many many times, but didn't get one to the day I check out. No hangers to hang clothes, they gave me 2, when I asked for more the maintenance guy said we don't provide more because guests steal hangers and hair dryers. (I was shocked by his comments. They charged my Credit card for the whole amount of stay and still not paid it back even though I made my reservations through Orbitz and paid for it in advance. Staff at breakfast area unhappy and walking with frown faces like they are forced to do the job. When I came back after breakfast to get some more coffee the lady that serves breakfast said: " You are back", I said I need coffee, she was angry and when I left (She said in a very loud voice "" SEE YOU TOMORROW"" I was very embarrassed by her behavior in front of the other guests eating breakfast.

Very quiet, nice courtyards and right along St Charles for walking or taking the trolley.

Tv didn’t work in both rooms. Shower didn’t work well in one room. Cold shower with very little flow.

Let me start and say that the staff was so friendly and amazingly helpful. When we arrived we checked in very smoothly and Eric, valet attendant, was so sweet to walk us to our room and bring up our bags. He made sure our room had much more than we needed and took care of us with local recommendations. As far as the room, it was not as well kept up as the photos projected. The tub was clean, the bed was clean, but there was still residue on the carpet that it had not been kept up. Maybe another vacuum pass or 3 could have helped. The bathroom door got stuck, so if you closed it from the inside you would need help from someone on the outside to push it open. If I were alone I would have been terrified. The breakfast was delicious and typical continental. The staff there were super amazing too. Valet was easy. Just call down or pop on over and they'll get your vehicle right away.

Place is a dump. Had to request our room be changed three times before finally getting a room in which the door didn't have a one inch gap at the bottom. Saw a dead mouse on property (in common area) and could hear mice within the walls. Our room wasn't serviced for 3 nights. 3! We kept informing the hotel management, but nothing got done. Just one false promise after another. Staff is completely unprofessional. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. This place should be closed ASAP.

there was no half and half at breakfast bar, just non-dairy creamer. Not acceptable. The first day there was only margarine but on second day the lady serving had brought real butter. Margarine is not acceptable. The eggs were precooked in a factory. Are you feeding animals or paying guests?

The staff were great and the hotel is in a convenient location, but the rooms were in disrepair, the pool was closed, the TV's were broken and multiple guests had complaints about the conditions of the rooms.

Sheets were dirty. I call for new sheets and they were dirty and ripped. Staff apologized and were nice though. Paid for valet but they weren’t on staff when I needed them. Had to park my suv myself. I didn’t have a problem with parking my own car...just don’t charge me extra for valet service and I don’t receive it..I turned on the shower to get the water warm while I gathered my things and when I returned to the bathroom everything was wet. Bad shower design. Overall rating 1⭐️

We got a great deal and the location was great but, it ends there. It's very dated and doesn't look well maintained. The bottom. Portion of our dresser was broken off, there were several parts of the room was were just broken and in disarray. The shower leaked, wasn't fully covered and the floor always got wet. There was a smell in the room, either humid or moldy smell.

From the moment we pulled up, the vallet was unhelpful. Told us to go park our own car. We were unsure exactly where to park it, until you walked over and pointed at a spot. The front desk check-in lady was nice. But not very professional. There were two women there, they were cutting up and laughing. The "hotel" is actually a motel. The room had an awful smell to it. The bedsheets looked clean, so that was a plus. There were several parts of the room in the bedroom, bath a ceiling that were chipped chunks of paint. The molding was falling off in the bedroom. There was a large spot were it looked like they had covered a hole in the bathroom, but never actually painted it. It was just spackle. The bathroom shower and toilet area was not cleaned very well as, they left hairs all over the floor and stains on the door. We didn't have time to complain because we only had 30 mins to change and get to our event. Upon returning, I took a shower in my flip flops only because it wasn't really clean. I go to blow dry my hair, and the hair dryer is broken. I was rather late at this point to try and get another on. Oh, and I the morning my husband noticed the AC unit had leaked all over his cloths, and bag that was next to the unit! I was happy toget out of that place the next morning! We will never return. We just expected a lot more than we got, for a room that was $225.

Quiet, charming, uniquely laid out complex just far away enough from the Quarter to bring you peace. Mr Ed's is just next door - gumbo, oysters, red beans & rice and cold beer!! Close to the WWII Museum if you're so inclined. Older property, but full of NOLA charm.
