Awesome hotel. Only a short walk to the French quarter, but far enough to avoid the noise. Friendly staff. Clean and surprisingly spacious room. Didn't try the complimentary breakfast, but I appreciate that it's available. Nothing really bad to say. Would recommend.

In walking distance to French Quarter and CBD attractions/ restaurants.

Staff was forgettable. Room did not have working outlets. So no place to charge multiple cell phones and devices. Wifi was slow. A large group of loud, unsupervised young people were hanging out in the hallways, dinette area, and lobby all times of the day. The ice machine was on the floor above and below us, and had to deal with the teen group when getting ice. I chose hotel based on having a pool, so my eleven year old could swim. It was so cold it was unbearable, and again too many teenagers in tiny pool area. It was impossible to get breakfest in the morning, everytime I tried there were 100 people crammed into dining area, with equal amounts waiting to get in. I don't like to complain, but I would not stay at hotel again. I booked it based on travel advice I recieved on tripadviser. Wish I did more research.

Good Location. Close to Bourbon Street, but in a quiet area. While in town for a conference, I heard some really rough horror stories about neighboring hotels overbooking, so La Quinta turned out to be a smart choice.

Visiting during Carnival season. Fixtures seemed a little old but clean. Location convenient to French Quarter. All day parking in garage next door

The stay was convenient although leading up to my reservation the staff was unclear about details like parking, directions, their wristband requirement for Mardi Gras weekend, and how my card would be charged. Other than that the location and cleanliness was exceptional

Staff was excellent. Room not very clean. Mattress was droopy and needs replacement.

The only thing decent about this hotel is the location. Located two blocks off of the French Quarter, it was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go but wasn't in the middle of the noise and chaos. The staff was indifferent, at best, and it was the absolute worst "free breakfast" we have ever had at any lodging. We were there for 2 nights and they never cleaned our room or provided clean towels. We had to ask twice to get an extra blanket. When we called down for our cars to check out, we were told that the valet had stepped away and it would be a while. We won't be staying at a La Quinta again.

every good, had and excellent stay staff was attentive

The room was clean and comfortable. It sometimes was a bit noisy in the room because we could hear water running in the room nearby or doors opening and closing, but nothing horrible. The breakfast had lots of choices and was kept well stocked. The fitness room was small and didn't have much to offer, but it was better than nothing. The free wifi was great and I had no problems logging on or doing anything I needed to, including watching live stream video without buffering. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were tons a great restaurants in easy walking distance and the hotel staff recommended a great one our first night when we were too tired from travel to go far. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to NOLA.

Good location-near streetcar lines, French Quarter, lots of restaurants. Good buffet breakfast.

The hotel was nice and very close to Bourban St. The room was vey comfortable. There were no draw backs except the valet service is crazy. They park your vehicle 6-7 blocks away from the property and it takes forever if you want your vehicle..

Hotel is older, but close to my conference. The big issue of concern for me was the hot water. One day I had to run water for almost 15 minutes before it got warm enough to use and then it went to blistering hot. The pipes also made a horrible noise when you turned the handle towards hot. it stopped once you turned it to the shower mode though.

Our stay at LaQuinta was very satisfactory. The Staff especially Vicky, the concierge were fabulous. The location was convenient to all areas if New Orlean. Vicky gave us great recommendations for restaurants and tours. Our rooms was clean and orderly all essentials were included.

Hotel did a wonderful job with everything. Great location to all attractions!

gave my room away what else can i say!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you want sleep STAY AWAY. This is what they called at the front desk a pet friendly hotel. I guess that meant that they didn't care about barking dogs in rooms disturbing other guests. This we put up with this for well over 4 hours while they tried to contact the owners. This went on for 2 days. Also 3 of our 4 nights there we put up with drunks in the hallway at 2AM. Usually took staff over 30 minutes to do something about it. We understood that this hotel is within walking distance of Bourbon Street, but when you call down that drunks are screaming in the hallway outside your door at 2AM they should make some effort to reply to this a little faster then 30 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel if you value your sleep.

Our one night stay was fine. I love the site of the hotel near canal st, bourbon and french quarter. Accessible to the St. Patrick Church which was great because we attend the Latin Mass and walking distance from hotel. What took us long is the Parking. We confused at first, kept of moving around to the next building to find a parking space. The internet is ok but limited. Breakfast was fine.

Good location. Close to transportation and everything. Will stay again.

Nice rooms, nice staff. Would come back again. The area is nice and safe. The bathrooms were very clean.
