The property looked great upon entry and the location was cool

The exterior of the hotel was a little dated. The interior appeared to be recently remodeled and the room was exquisite and spotless. The bed was super comfortable with an abundance of pillows. Drawbacks of our visit was an absolutely horrible Continental Breakfast, temperature in the breakfast area was freezing and although I had prepaid for the room thru Orbitz, upon check in I was charged $75 to my credit card and was told it would be reimbursed upon leaving and that it was some sort of hold fee and damage deposit if we were to damage the room, this is a first for me! Upon leaving we were guaranteed that this fee would not be applied. However, upon arriving home I checked my credit card and the fee was still pending. I contacted the credit card company and told them that I would be contesting this charge if it is not removed. Back to the Continental Breakfast, there were no warm items provided with exception to waffles. The muffins were rock hard, no fresh fruit with exception to a few small apples that looked like they had been dipped in wax and there was nobody replacing items that were running low. The waffle batter was barely coming out of the dispenser and obviously needed replenishing, upon returning for a second cup of coffee no more coffee was available. To top it all off there had been a severe cold front that had moved in the prior evening and the temperature in the breakfast area was as cold as it was outside, I would estimate in the 30's. Breakfast disaster!!!

This was my second stay at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. The hostess in the breakfast room was the kindest and sweetest.

Nice. The hotel is located in a very busy area. The staff was friendly. The room could have been cleaned better. The elevator is small and bounces when it stops.

Hotel was fine staff was friendly. Bar tender was funny. Only complaint would be that the room wouldn’t get cold enough. It was cool and the ac was working just I like it cold and it seemed to stay around 74

Staff was very nice, and breakfast was good. However, our room had an unpleasant smell. We informed the front desk because we did not want to be charged for it.

Smooth check in. Easy access to the highway. Hotel bar and restaurant was great. Service was quick. Room was updated. There was a slight egg odor coming through the AC at night. Not sure the reason. We were on the 3rd floor in the back of the hotel. I did hear some noise from rooms above and around, but it sounded more like plumbing noises.

Last night we checked in. The room was comfortable. The shower was in poor repair but it mostly worked. Last night we checked in with a lovely girl who assured us we could get a 5:15am shuttle. I bet you see where this is going. This morning I came down at 5:02 and was told - no - the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes starting at 5am and guess what we missed it. No sorry - it’s just how it is - go jump in a lake. So I’m ranting at the breakfast bar - yogurt, fruit, waffle station, - I couldn’t enjoy it obviously. My partner comes down and I snap at him. He’s the calm one so he spoke nicely to the lady at reception. Calm kind people can work miracles. So he warmed her up and she was very helpful- offered to get us a cab, provide a room discount. So happily ever after, I’m in line at the MSY airport and things are going well. We are on target to make our flight and I have the world’s best partner.

Suite I've reserved was not available, I was downgraded to regular room. No refund was offered directly to me, however receptionist said she was returning some costs to Orbitz.

Very convenient to airport . Would stay again for an early flight.

the halls all smelled like weed and there was some sketchy people staying there. I didn't feel comfortable with my 5 year old niece there.

Nice stay, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Would use again for the night before a flight. Saved us time getting to the airport. Note that flight departed at 5:15 and shuttle doesn’t start until 5:00 so used an Uber.

Nice. The hotel is located in a very busy area. The staff was friendly. The room could have been cleaned better. The elevator is small and bounces when it stops.
