Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans - Downtown - French Quarter Area

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Very nice and big rooms for the CBD/French Quarter area.

The hotel is beautiful and just steps away from Canal Street where trollies and shopping are easily accessible. The room was adequate but the staff made the real difference, from the reservation desk to the valet attendant even the persons in the breakfast area were all very welcoming and attentive. It was a short walk to the River walk for the dinner cruise experience which you can't afford to miss on a New Orleans vacation. Overall a great experience.

Happy. The breakfast is wonderful, and staff is friendly. I will stay in this hotel again.

not as nice as many other Hampton inns, but a comfortable stay in central location with easy walk to quarter or super dome...also close to st Charles trolley line to easily travel to garden district and magazine street

Rooms are excellent. The building looks a little bit old. Staff is nice and helpful. There is a nice breakfast room on 4 th floor. Breakfast is ok. Coffe, tea and other beverages available 24 hours a day but they keep the room freezing, and nobody stays there to drink their coffee.

Excellent experience. New rooms, excellent location. Friendly staff.

This is our second visit to the Hampton. We were so impressed the first time we stayed here that we returned. Great location and very helpful and friendly staff. Room was a good size and well maintained. As we were there for a week, we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast meal was somewhat different each morning. We will be back on our next trip to NOLA.

Enjoyed staying at Hampton Inn New Orleans. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast, free good coffee all day. Was able to walk to Bourbon St, French Quarter, and Riverwalk Mall.

Great place to stay. Right where you want to be. Ask for higher a higher floor or you will hear the streetcars.

The location was very convenient for our stop over in New Orleans and our plans for the next day. Construction in front of the hotel was an issue but the staff helped. Only complaint was the filth on the 4th floor lobby and our room. Needed to be vacuumed badly.

The hotel was nice and all the staff were very prompt and helpful

Nice hotel, good value, friendly staff, great location. Close to the French Quarter, close to the WW2 Museum which is a must see, but still quiet for business travelers. I will stay there again.

My husband and I had a quick weekend getaway and had a wonderful stay. Everything was great--employees, cleanliness, breakfast, comfort. Very positive experience and we would stay here again.

Loved the architecture and history of the building! Very comfy room and the staff was terrific! We will definitely stay there next time we're in New Orleans!

We are regular Hampton Inn customers and this one is outstanding. Best breakfast. Super nice Staff. Unexpected early evening snacks that were almost a full meal. Downtown location is gritty, but that is just New Orleans. Valet parking only, but plenty of staff to provide fast service. Numerous moderately priced restaurants within two blocks.

I have visited New Orleans on several occasions and this is by far the best location I have ever stayed. Will definitely stay at this location for years to come.

I've statyed at this location numerous times and have always enjoyed my stay here

We had a great time the room was clean, and the breakfast in the morning was great. the bell staff were very helpful. would stay here again.

Was able to get a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa. Great room for a bunch of guys visiting New Orleans for a bachelor party. Right by bourbon st and walking distance to the superdome.
