I generally like the hotel but there were a few issues this time around. 1) My credit card was charged twice for the full amount and I have not yet seen the credit to my account as requested at least 10 days ago. 2) It seems the AC was out in parts of the hotel hallways and it hit you like a brick coming off the elevator 3) There were two bottles of conditioner and no shampoo - didn't realize until in the shower 4) No Kleenex in the dispenser 5) Generally speaking the price is high for the minimal basic accommodations but the staff is usually friendly and familiar.
I stayed here on Aug 7-9. Annila, the owner was absolutely amazing. She was there every morning and night. She was so kind and tended to our EVERY request. She make sure our needs were met and even made sure we ate breakfast. She was very friendly and just awsome. I have stayed at some very nice and very expensive hotels but I have never had service like this, so attentive and eager to please. If your in La Place, Louisiana and you need a place to stay check it out. No, I m gonna be honest it not the newest, fanciest hotel but Annila's customer service was amazing!!!!
My husband was in town working on a job for 18 months, second week there, my debit card was hit fir 1,200.00, which was taken care of after three days, the next week I used my credit card, but they carved my debit card from the previous week for 1,800, over drafted my account two weeks in a row, we couldn't pay our bills back home for two weeks in a row, took a full week to get the problem taken care of with the help of my bank. Days Inn could have made an easy 40,000 on my stay there, finally had enough and found another hotel.
One of the best hotels around. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative at the location! Wide selection of tv shows to watch, clean rooms, and a nice size pool. My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Mrs. Patel for treating us like family!
The woman at the front desk [didn't get her name!] was wonderful and allowed me an early check-in. Best customer service I've had in a long time!
Days Inn Laplace staff during my stay were warm, welcoming and ever ready to assist. They ensured I enjoyed my stay. The hotel had neat and serene environment. Wifi, TV and other amenities were good. Its central location made navigation easier for me. I will surely visit again when in Laplace.
I searched for a hotel in the area where my brother and his family was staying. I booked with Days Inn-Laplace and I will say this, they were very professional over the phone and in person. The next morning my family woke up and went downstairs for breakfast and I must say that the area was very clean and organized. They staff stayed on top of things to make sure everything was out and refilled when needed. The lady at the front desk left the waffle mix out so my grandson can have a waffle when he came down. breakfast hours were over at 9, he came down at 9:20.....and he had the biggest smile on his face knowing that they still had waffles left. Thank you again for a very pleasant stay.
My husband grandson and I checked into this hotel on Saturday June 10th. We checked in by accident our reservation was at the Quality Inn next door, upon check in they charged us 20$cash! (Early check-in fee) I gave her our reservation number and name , she Never said we were at the wrong motel she took the money and checked us in. Her mom calls 30 minutes later screaming at us we were in the wrong motel! She upset my husband by yelling at me! Stating we are going to charge you for the whole! She came to out room screaming at us that the room has been used and we were going to be charged I asked why when we are leaving? By this time I'm mad and my voice escalated she threatened to call the police on us and our 4 year old grandson.! This is the most rudest place ever. Upon check in at the Quality Inn next door they informed us they do this all the time. I will never stay at another Days Inn ever! Tammy Barnett
Nice quiet Hotel to stay at with good people that run it, nice clean rooms, good free breakfast, and if you need anything at all to make your stay better all you have to do Is ask and you'll be promptly taken care of.
My family and I traveled to New Orleans for spring break and stayed outside of the city. We find Days Inn Laplace, which was central to several outings that we had. From the swamp tour to visiting several plantations. The Service was great, everyone was extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were always cleaned and bathroom spotless. I recommend staying at Days Inn Laplace during your next trip to New Orleans.
