Days Inn New Orleans/LaPlace

We spent three nights and had great service, no problems. It is close to our sons house and very handy to restaurants. We make a point of staying here about once a year and choose other Wyndham motels when traveling.

Awesome stay! I was in town for a business meeting and wanted to be sure I was rested up and ready to go the next morning. Great customer service!! Anita gave me a nice quiet room and answered questions that I had about the area and made me feel right at home. The price was great and the bed was comfy. Water pressure in the shower was just right. Will be back!

I have stayed here many times. I return because the staff is incredible! Very accommodating, and it is a convenient location to all the things I enjoy going to do. The rooms are clean, always fresh towels and if I have forgotten anything she is more than able to help me. Always have breakfast available and even If I am a little late getting down with the kids she will find me a little something. If you are looking for someone to take care of you like you are home, this is the place for you. Could not ask for more.

The service/staff for this hotel was great - the woman at the front desk during our stay was quite accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable. For the price ($90/night) and the other reviews, I'd hoped the room would be a little more up-to-date, but it was definitely clean. The pillows in our room were small (throw-pillow size) and there were no spares, but I only found this to be strange, not a problem. We went to a concert at the Orpheum Theater in NOLA, and LaPlace was a little bit out of the way, but still less costly than closer options. I'd consider staying here again if I needed to go somewhere closer to LaPlace. There were a lot of options for breakfast as well.

My husband and I chose this hotel because it's close to family we were visiting & it was cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area. Sometimes you get what you pay for and cheap means nasty or uncomfortable, or other weird issues. I've seen some of the other reviews and complaints about minor problems. This was not the case for us. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was a standard but good continental bf, hello waffle machine! The best part was the service. The sweet lady that runs this place works her butt off. My son woke up sick in the middle of the night. When my husband rang the front desk to ask for something we could clean it with, she got right to it. When we came down for breakfast, she handed us 2 big bottles of Pedialyte. She made sure to check on us everyday, asking if we needed anything when she went to the store. Who does that?! We felt like family and I can't say enough how much I appreciate her kindness. Don't let minor issues like some of the photos show keep you from staying here. This is where we will stay anytime we come this way.

The staff and breakfast we’re great, prices were a little high for business travel. Beds were great, but the rooms could have been cleaner, found ants in the bathroom

nice place, very friendly, family owned and operated looked like, front desk was especially helpful and accommodating. quiet

has easy access to I-10 for catching early flight out of new Orleans international airport that is a 10 to 15 mile drive away.

I couldn't ask for a more inviting place to stay. The staff is top notch and very accommodating. If the rest of my stay goes this well I will be beyond grateful. The owner took time out to meet me personally and wanted to make sure I didn't need anything. Way above and beyond.

I generally like the hotel but there were a few issues this time around. 1) My credit card was charged twice for the full amount and I have not yet seen the credit to my account as requested at least 10 days ago. 2) It seems the AC was out in parts of the hotel hallways and it hit you like a brick coming off the elevator 3) There were two bottles of conditioner and no shampoo - didn't realize until in the shower 4) No Kleenex in the dispenser 5) Generally speaking the price is high for the minimal basic accommodations but the staff is usually friendly and familiar.
