Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport

Older hotel but clean. Staff was kind and helpful.

I travel often, and stay in hotels regularly. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. While there were many rooms available, we were assigned to room 1250. That room is very near Interstate 10 where there is loud truck traffic... all night long. Neither of us got to sleep for even one minute. And, the quality of the room is pathetic. It resembles an old, run-down cut-rate motel--no bottles of water, no coffee, and a dimmly-lit bathroom, not much larger than a broom closet. When you arrive at the from desk, you're greeted with a sign that there's a parking fee (plus tax, of course). And, that's in Kenner, Louisiana. I chose the Crowne Plaza over other area hotels because of its proximity to the airport. That was a big mistake. I will never stay here again, nor will I ever again stay at a Crowne Plaza. Apparently, they have no quality-control program at all.

Wonderful stay by the airport. Great staff and services.

Parking was not included in the price of the hotel. Had to pay additional parking fee to park in the hotel's parking lot.

The room was in great shape. The bed a little soft. The AC needed to be a bit colder. The staff were great.

I was In a room with no window. I had To beg for a new set of towels. This felt more like a motel.

Delicious breakfast. The front desk supervisor was amazing! The gym exceeded my expectations.

They want to charge for parking , you have to ask for a refrigerator, staff as ruded

The room was horrible it was not clean especially the bathroom finding the room was horrible as well everything is so unorganized this is nothing like any other crowne plaza I've ever stayed at.

My wife and I needed a getaway of rest, relaxation and togetherness and this hotel gave us that and so much more. It was a wonderful experience...!

Didn't sleep well but the room was nice...kind of clammy feeling in the room. They did not have a shuttle available at the time needed. No coffee in the room. Not good at 3:30 a.m. when you have to get ready to catch a flight. I called the front desk and was told she would have some brought up. 20 minutes later I called back and asked where I could go get it. She finally brought coffee. No sugar, creamer, cups or stirrer. Not what I expect when I pay over $100.00 for a room in order to catch a flight the next day. Breakfast was included. which I had..I guess that's where the food they used to serve on international flights was sent to die. Staff was nice upon check in. I felt as though I was bothering them about the coffee. Overall nice, as a Crown Plaza hotel should be. Just let down with the amenities.

Check in took too long because it was only 1 clerk. Outdated everything-furniture, lamps didnt match, bed was rocky, but clean. Carpet purchased from Chucky Cheese. Mix matched furniture in lobby. No trash can in the room. Non of the buttons on a/c-heat wall unit worked. Either unplug it to turn off or block with a chair to not freeze if left on. Towels like sand paper. Ironing board woke up the neighborhood when opened. WD40!

Hotel staff was very nice. Our room was not cleaned for 2 days even after we asked for them to clean. On the last day we were checking under the bed to see if we were leaving anything and we found a pair of dirty tighty whities. Very dirty. Didn't care to complain as we were on our way out.

I would xome back. I would only prefer a window view. But i did get deep sleep though which is a big plus

Overall it was a good hotel. Cheap parking (comparing with other hotels nearby). Service was good, it is close to the airport but not walking distance( there’s a shuttle for this). Room was OK, missing certain minor thing like a waste basket in the bathoom - but it was comfortable, and clean

We try to stay here whenever we're flying early because of the consistency of their property. Always a pleasant stay, even for just 1 night. Shuttle is timely. Rooms are very satisfactory. Staff is always smiling and helpful. I would recommend for anyone in the Kenner area; families, couples or just one person. Safe, convenient and close to the airport.

Feels old and cheap. Though attempts seem to have been made to modernize and seem nicer, the overall feel is still sad and worn out. Carpet is lumpy and stained. Bed was probably comfortable a few years ago - now the springs can be felt. Not worth it.

Had a family wedding in New Orleans. To save money we opted to stay here, further out. It was a nice hotel, no complaints at all. They charge $10/day for parking in their lot right there in front of their hotel. There's a McDonald's across the street for quick breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay as it did provide exactly what I needed after a long day participating in what I was in town to do. The housekeeping staff was particularly skilled as my room was cleaned thoroughly every day without any problems at all. Beautifully done. I was surprised there was no mini-bar, an amenity I would have enjoyed for a late night snack. Not at all sure why this was not provided. As far as that goes, there was no room service per sé which was disappointing. There was a short menu left in the room, more like a lunch sort of thing than an actual room service menu. I enjoy dining in my room and had simply assumed a Crown Plaza would have that as a matter of course. I was able to order breakfast with no menu which showed up minus a couple of items I had ordered. Although I was not charged for these things, it was disappointing they were not present. I feel there was a language barrier since the person in the restaurant who took my call was difficult to understand and I'm sure I was for her as well. Simply having the restaurant take a call and delivering by waiter to a room is not good room service as it turned out. They really need to reconsider not having a separate RS dept. The meal was very good however. With the exception of a somewhat surly desk clerk one evening and a Food & Bev. dept that needs some work, the Hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.
