First of all the bed (mattress) was totally shot. It should have been replaced months ago. Secondly, there were ants in the room. Thirdly, the bathtub drain hardly worked so that when you took a shower, you were standing in several inches of water. Finally, the bathtub shower surround had mold in the seams. We would have asked for another room but felt like if this is what they would provide for a typical guest to their hotel, then the rest of their rooms probably were in the same condition.

Staff was amazing!! Beds were beyond comfortable!! And location was great! Overall a perfect stay for all of my family. Loved having the convenience of Continental breakfast! We will definitely stay here again when we return!

Okay rooms. Had non smoking but was so close to smoking rooms that it had the stale stench. Pool is super tiny, but nice and warm. No pool towels ever available. Breakfast was sufficient. Parking was fine.

No problems everything came out nice. Clean rooms and bed good breakfast

The room reeked of smoke, the hallways smelled like smoke and the accommodations were below average. Not as nice as portrayed on your site.

staff and rooms ok for price great area would repeat

The hotel looks almost deserted it is not kept up outside at all! The hallways are dirty and smell of smoke. Inside the room itself was clean and comfortable!!

Good for the price. Things like in room refrigerator a little out dated but working. Comfortable bed & good controllable room temp. Quiet location, a little hard to find. Nothing within walking distance but lots within a 10 minute drive. Good price for comfortable night sleep & great breakfast

Bathroom was not working Room was old and stinky Furniture was broken Lamp shades were ripped

You could stay in a fine hotel but you'd pay for all those amenities. If you're trying to economize, looking for convenience, requiring few amenities (other than a good wifi connection) and using the hotel room simply as a place to sleep, there's a lot to be said for paying half the price. The staff was easy-going and friendly and the room was very clean. One half of the king mattress was not as comfortable as the other (so I slept on the comfortable half).

Great location. Easy on/off freeway. Friendly staff. Pool looked clean but did not get a chance to use it. Nice breakfast provided. Dusty room in spots but overall clean. No ATM on site. NOTE: This hotel does NOT have an elevator. If you have back issues or are handicapped in a way that keeps you from climbing stairs, make sure you confirm a first floor room!

Stayed here over 30 days for business and it is a place I'll stay again if back in the area

This hotel does not even deserve a half star! I checked in the first room and it was not cleaned yet, that was startling as it appeared someone was still in the room! So then I was upgraded to a "suite", hence the hotels name....it was a chilly night so I put the heater on and it fell of the wall and started to smell like it was burning? Third room they gave me, another "suite" I ended staying only because the room was paid for and non-refundable! I have to admit, I slept with one eye open, scary, old, dirty, just all around horrible experience! I knew the picture and price were too good to be true! Never again!!!! Back to Hilton, Marriott and large chains again, totally worth the extra money!

The breakfast was okay - waffles, juice, cereal. It was located near the highway and some good restaurants as well as movies etc. I did not interact with the staff much but the room was not super clean when I got there but after the fist night the maids came and it was fine after.

When I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere of the receptionist was so nice, the cookies were deliceous. I had to stay there until 1PM before I leave the hotel, the hotel allowed me to stay until 1PM with no extra charge. The staffs were nice, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I can't ask for more. Thank you for your nice service.

I came to this hotel because it is advertised to have a fridge and microwave in the basic room. I argued with the clerk, who informed me that only the suites have fridges. I finally got myself upgraded and for I what I paid, it was worth a suite. Overall though, don't expect much - from the hotel infrastructure to the continental breakfast.

I was traveling with my wife and infant daughter to visit some family in CT and it was very hard to find a reasonably priced hotel along the CT shorline. We finally came across the Baymont Inn and Suites and while it was reasonably priced, it was not worth it at all. The room itself seemed clean when we walked in, aside from numberous stains in the carpet. We unpacked and settled in and when I went over to the A/C unit, the entire carpet was soaked. Not only did the A/C leak, but it also sounded like a helicopter was in our room all night. Not long after that, my wife found someone else's dirty bath towel still hanging in the bathroom. Also, the wall/doors are paper thin and you could hear everything happening in the hallway all night. Needless to say, we will not be staying at the Baymont Inn and Suites ever again.

Great deal, clean rooms, friendly staff

I thought it odd that the desk clerk told us that the best access to our room was via the fire escape. We had two large pieces of luggage, and there was no elevator. Instead of playing the part of "cat burglar" by going up the fire escape at 2 in the morning, we decided that we should enter the hotel through the lobby and just take the stairs inside of the hotel. We were immediately overwhelmed by an obnoxious odor that was similar to a locker room. When we got to our room however, it was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and afforded us a nice few hours of sleep after a 14 hour road trip. I was surprised when upon showering the next morning, I saw a few hairs in the bathtub that did not belong to me. Perhaps the bathrooms could stand a bit more attention to detail. Overall, this hotel was fine for one night. The bed was very comfortable, as mentioned before. If I were going to stay at this hotel for longer than one night, I would inquire about the permeating odor in the hallways. It was truly overwhelming.

WAS FINE FOR AN OVER-NIGHTER
