Good place to stay if get chance will visit again for sure. The located is near Rk ashram metro station. The receptions was so nice and helpful. I ordered chicken tikka roll and sweet corn soup in hotel both r very tasty. All awesomeeeee

This hotel has a very good location near the metro. The rooms and beds are big and clean. The rooftop is nice and cool in the evening. The restaurant serves a big variety of dishes. A good place to stay a few days.

Specific negatives: The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is run down and does not feel clean. Bed sheets were stained and had black hairs on them (we had brought sleeping sheets with us,so we just slept in these instead). Bathroom toilet and shower did not work consistently. One or the other, or both, were out of action every time we went to use the bathroom, and the shower pressure was poor. Additionally, the shower was always cold. The people in the room next to us were smoking and the rooms aren't well sealed. The cigarette smoke came through the the adjacent bathroom and into our bedroom. So, for two of the three days we came back to a smoke filled room (until the other guest/s left). The hotel staff said they could not assist in this instance. The air-con gets turned off by the hotel, so we would come back to a hot room everyday and have to request it be turned on again. The room felt dirty (bed, bathroom, sheets, couch, walls). It all just needs a good scrub and re-fresh. The location of the hotel makes it very noisy. If you are new to India, you may find it hard to sleep. The lift is very shaky, so we climbed the stairs every day to our room. The room is very cheap, and I am not sure if this is the standard in India for the price we paid? The pictures make you believe you are getting more value for money than you actually are. Specific positives: Wifi worked. The roof top restaurant, although nothing much to look at, does serve good curries and they offer room service and takeaway. They have a good travel agent in the foyer, Rohit (I have lost his business card now), who can help you organise a driver, train ticket or provide other travel advice if you have left your planning a bit late. He is knowledgeable and efficient. He did offer to provide hotels of the same quality for us along our routed path, however, we decided, based on experience at this hotel, not to use this option. The location is really handy to the metro, about a 2-5 min walk, and the metro is a great, cheap way to get around Delhi. There are also a lot of auto rickshaws around and Uber drivers find the address okay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, given that Indian tourism seems to rely heavily on trip advisor reviews, I would strongly suggest the hotel update their pictures, so that people can get an honest idea of the room quality and then make a judgement. This might improve overall reviews as people would be more prepared for the standard.

Comfortable stay in the hotel. Great experience staying at hotel star plaza.good location of the main bazar good service cheap room with good AC wifi operating well.all in all great value from a budget room.the staff was were very friendly & genuine and went out of their way to make sure everything about our stay great specially paras & Bharat

Average room, average price (10-12$/night/person), typical average service in India but great A/C which is a really good thing in Delhi. The travel agent working in the lobby is a good and honest one compared to Indian standards.

I booked this based on good reviews here and on Expedia. I was disappointed when I arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room wasn't at all what it looked like in pictures. It wasn't filthy, but I didn't feel that it was very clean. The whole place just looks run down and dirty--they need to repaint and replace old, discolored sheets and towels. The bathroom has a strong urine smell and the shower had almost no water pressure. Overall it's probably fine for a budget traveler who isn't picky and just wants a place to crash. Personally I was hoping for something a little more comfortable after a long trip. I wouldn't stay here again.

Considering my daily room rate the room was quite good and everything worked. The restaurant is on the roof and if required meals can be delivered to the room. The menu is extensive and the food tasty. I had a lots of places I wanted to visit in the northern part of India and the surprise asset at the hotel was Rohit Kumar who organised all my budget travel such as trains, hotels, cars with drivers, local tuk-tuks, he also organised my brand of beer on the roof top bar to be cold and the glasses to be cold as well. He gave me a good and fair exchange rate for my Australian dollars. I'm a retired Army officer and I'm traveling the world on a budget and Rohit's plans and prices saved me heaps whilst I was in India. I'm going back next year.

My stay here was awesome. Initially I was thinking that it would not be nice, however, when I checked in the hotel ambiance was nice. Food was great and staff was polite and helpful. So it was a great experience at a reasonable price. The area is congested and parking might be a problem, but its a great place.

This hotel is the best option to stay close and confortable. In the Heard of main bazar is clean and nice. The restorant in perfect ( a little expensive but really nice). Ver y close You have Many options to eat.

Booked this hotel on reviews and what a SHOCK !!! We were tired from our drive from Agra and the person who welcomes us was one of the rudest one ever !!!!! We asked to see another room to compare and it was like we were annoying them. The room is not very clean and things must be repaired. NO HOT SHOWER ! During the night , THE NOISE !!!!!! from the kitchen upstairs to the people talking in the corridor and making echo , we didn't rest properly at all even with earplugs. Then the complementary breakfast : it took ages to be served (while we said we were in a hurry ) and it was absolutely disgusting. 20 mn to get a tea also . In few words : TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT & RUN AWAY
