The hotel was very run down and though I would not call it dirty, was in poor condition. Stains were on the bedspread and curtains. Sheets were thread bare. Rust around the bathroom fixtures. The clothes hanger was in terrible condition. Air conditioners hardly put out air. Changed rooms because the first room's air conditioner really didn't work. This hotel is near some very huge attractions and easily accessible to the PA Turnpike. I heard staff share with callers that they were sold out. So volume should not be why this hotel is not investing in upgrading its facilities on an ongoing basis.

I have stayed at this hotel before due to location and the restaurant attached, and the room was clean but outdated. This time, the beds were made without a top sheet over the duvet, and the air conditioner was broken, not in just one room, but in both the first and second room in which we were placed. We left an hour after checking in and won't be back.

Would stay again, enjoyed bar. Was close enough to events we attended without being too far.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Not bad for one night.

Nice pool, good value for 3 star hotel. Attached resteraunt has very good food.

The most important part of a hotel is providing a clean comfortable bed to sleep on. My bed was "made" but not changed. It was dirty "very dirty" from the previous occupant. I had room service change the sheets to find that when I laid down, the mattress has a huge dip or hole in the center. To make things worse, the room was full of spider webs, the toilet didn't flush right, the door key was turned off before 7am making it difficult to get back in the room. The manager said to take the matter up with the company that I paid through. She said they would reimburse me.

Location was very good. Easy to get to and from and easy to get into Harrisburg - only about 15 minutes away. Place is pretty run down with weeds growing in parking lot. Front desk only works from 9 to 9.

This hotel should be taken off travel sites. The pictures I saw on the website looked NOTHING like the place. The landscaping was so over grown, we couldn't find the entrance for the lobby. Room was full of bugs. Woke up to pincher bugs all over the ceiling. But, the staff was very helpful. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Dont even go there.. Its an haunting place not a lodge... There was no people in the morning at 9.30 to handover the keys.. and all doors are locked..... Carpets are stinky...

This place seems like it's getting ready to close down completely. The restaurant was closed down 2 weeks before we got there, and the hallway carpets were so dirty, i thought they were black. apparently they were originally red...whatever. I was surprised that the room was so clean and comfortable, because i was ready to leave before i got there. knowing how okay the rooms were compared to the rest and for the price i scored with this site, i'd stay again, considering i'm a poor 20-something year old who was only staying for one night and stuffing my face with chocolate at hershey park the next day... but only for the price i got from here

If you THINK you might arrive "After Hours," DO NOT book this hotel. It was not visible from the road, and the signage is unreadable. They posted my full name on the door telling me to "call Vinny" and pull around to get my key. A strange man came out of a side door to give me my key. There was no room number on our door. The room had another door to the "court yard" but made us feel unsafe. The next morning around 8:00 there was still no one at the front desk to check out. I didn't know you are supposed to leave the key in your room so "Vinny" was irritated when I asked. Felt weird about not checking out. Overall, it was a creepy weird experience.

Our stay was pretty good but I don't know that I would recommend this hotel. The price was great and the room was clean but I don't think most people would feel very comfortable staying here as it is very run down on the outside. I didn't feel unsafe personally but I could see how others might. The guy at the front desk was nice, he did warn us about the lobby not being 24 hours but he also gave us ways of reaching someone in case of an emergency. I might be willing to stay here again but I don't think I would recommend it to anyone I know.

Conveniently located off highway, room was clean, good mattress'. We received extra towels just minutes after our request. It is clearly obvious that the hotel needs some money put into it, updating and landscaping. But the staff was very courteous and helpful. Wish them luck!

we didn't expect much, because the rate was too good to be true. But - we weren't planning to be in the room except to sleep. New mattress & clean sheets. Bathroom was clean, too. However - the carpets left room for improvement. THe halls were disgusting, as was the outside of the place. We were pleasantly surprised to find fridge & microwave. However - to use the micro or coffeemaker you had to unplug something else. Not a full time desk attendant. The location is convenient as Bob Evans, local diner & McD's are all in walking distance. Like I said - we aren't too picky & didn't expect much. Bed was adequate for our needs, but I know many would walk away once they entered the halls.

It wasn't very good hotel but good for the price. The hotel is old, but is clean. it has been well maintained. the gym is very small with only 5 equipment, but at least it is open 24 hours a day. also the breakfast was ok, but it is only served till 9:30 Am, which is too early for a traveler who wants to sleep longer.

The outside was very rundown. The room seemed to be clean - until we found a roach! The front desk clerk simply said she'd "leave a note for the manager" but no other restitution was offered. I would not stay here again.

Not bad if you just spending a quick over night and going to Hershey Park the next day

was good for the price and the time that i had needed the room and the location was close to the highway.

I was scared to fall asleep.... I also went deaf from the shower.

The WIFI was non-existant. NO STAFF ON AFTER HOURS AND NO ONE TOLD ME!!!! GOT LOCKED OUT OF MY ROOM TEMPORARILY!!!! The bar & resterant were never open & the ice & vending machines were out of order. I could deal with the outside looking like a disaster since it was so cheap, but if you list amenities, make sure they are available or at least have your staff explain up-front the problems. Go to motel across the interstate if you need an inexpensive place that will provide the services they advertise.
