Fair Older hotel, could use some maintenance and softer mattresses. Staff were friendly

Things that were bad: one lamp, shower wall had hair Things that were good: AC, bed, TV, ice, breakfast, fridge, water

Worst stay. Roaches in freezer, towel covered in hair, carpet was black from dirt, shower curtain had brown stains and didn't fit shower. Absolutely gross!!!

We would gladly stay at this hotel again. First rate.

IT WAS QUIET, COMFORTAABLE, CLEAN AND CLOSE TO WORK

Just a place to rest your head. Good value. Pretty good breakfast. Noisy a\c.

This was a very good stay for business. It was located near my business contact. The room was great. Clean room was spacious better than adequate. The only thing wrong was the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working and the cover was hanging down against the shower rod-strange! The night clerk was a little less than sharp, but got the job done on the check-in. Rooms were accessed through the front door and our room was upstairs. All in all, this was really good bang-for-the-buck!

I had to put two employees up in a hotel and I asked about the room and they looked at me funny and said, it was "okay." Stiff beds and pretty outdated. The on-line price was good, but upon arrival, New Braunfels has a lot of good variety at competitive prices at a much newer facility. All things considered, the price was right and it included breakfast & wi-fi, so the guy paying for the room was happy. (but I didn't stay here)

The toilet and tub were not draining well, it took a long time I thought I will flood the place. The second day we were there we came back to a room that was not cleaned, the pillows looks aweful like they didn't even fixed it. We will not stay there again ever!

One of my main priorities in finding a hotel is a hot-tub/jacuzzi; this hotel had a triangle with 1 "jet" barely bubbling that was the same water and temp as the pool. We had a bug in our bed and the hair dryer was broken. The hotel stunk and had no a.c. in the lobby the day we checked in. I was and am embarrassed we stayed in such a disgusting place, and will NEVER make that mistake again! Oh yeah, it was NOISY everywhere, inside and out! Really slumming it here!

After having stayed at Embassy Suites for the first leg of our trip, we were really let down by the motel feel. But, it was a relatively cleanish, inexpensive and very convenient option. We brought our two dogs, which were excepted just fine. There's a $10 charge for each pet each night, FYI. The complimentary breakfast was pretty cool! They had fresh waffles, danishes, English muffins, biscuits and sausage gravy, cereal, juice and milk... yummy to prep you for a day in the water! Very nice people running the place. I would have liked to see higher quality mini toiletries, but eh. And, the wifi is not free.

this hotel was very laidback and friendly. The area was in a great place where you could go just about anywhere. Schlitterbahn is not that far to drive and the employees were Texas friendly. :) would definately stay here again.

We needed accomodations to attend a memorial service for a friend in Canyon Lake, TX. The location was great, the room was clean and had all the ammenities that we needed. The breakfast had a variety of items to meet our dietary needs and it was well stocked. We were even able to do our laundry at the hotel. Very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very nice. We would definately stay again and recommend to others. The staff was very friendly as well.

The hotel was clean and neat. The room was a good size and plenty of work space. The bed was less than comfy. If they had better beds I would recommend this hotel in a minute. The fact that the beds were not very good had me wanting to move to another hotel.

Room had roaches, breakfast buffet was UCK.. waffle maker does not work correctly, the couch was un bearable to sit in. and the bed well we rolled into the middle.. I would not stay there again. The pool was nasty and had toliet paper floating in it, and It does not have a hot tub like the amenities said it did..

The hotel was nice, simple. The people were really nice. There was a coffee maker and an iron and hair dryer. They also had breakfast nothing huge but it was good enough for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It served our purpose of a hot shower and a clean bed to sleep in.

Our experience at Howard Johnson's was wonderful. Check in time is 2:00; however, we arrived at 11:00 and they most graciously prepared our room for immediate check-in. The desk clerk supplied information regarding the different River Rafting Company's etc. which really helped in our plans for the day. All rooms have a microwave and refrigerator which helped while being on a budget. Continental breakfast was average but filled my boys up until lunch. The pool is nice and clean with wooden fence surrounding it. The rooms were clean and amazingly quite. Price was reasonable and the location was great. Overall experience was wonderful.

GOOD

It was ok and I got what I paid for. But it's not as good as staying at Comfort inn I thought
