Stayed at Beaches Negril Resort and Spa for 3 nights in May 22, 2015. Was scheduled to stay for 4 night but due to delays in traveling on US Airway, flight was delayed from BWI and missed a connecting flight and lost a day in Jamacia. This was an issued I had to take up with US Airway. My husband and I stayed in a room with a king bed. The room did not include a chair and desk. The room was very small in comparison to the price. The hotel price is way overpriced for the sizes of the room. The room was clean but ants were in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The staff was very professional and always speaking and manage to learn your name. The staff were very easy to work with and accommodating, always available to assist you without waiting to get their attention. The staff is what made this vacation a pleasant experience. This resort is perfect for families with small kids. If you are a couple and desire more luxury hotel/resort this is not the place. The food and drinks were good. Maybe the high price was mainly for family traveling with children. The security staff was always on point, kept track of your going and coming to the resort. The grounds of the resort was neat and free of trash. Went to Jamacia to attend a friend's wedding. Had a wonderful time and did plenty of relaxing. The staff was awesome and very professional and approachable. First time in Jamacia so I do not know much about the local area. The resort appear to be more in a secluded area or a quieter part of Jamacia. It was a 90 minutes ride from the airport but the ride was comfortable. If the room were larger with a chair then I would have rated the value for money and comfort of room higher.

The perfect place for a beachfront vacation. All water sports included enjoyed the snorkeling and water tubing. Several pools and hot tubs for choice. Restaurants were excellent. I appreciated the shade trees on the beach so I wasn't exposed to the sun all day. The service people were all nice to be around and very dedicated toward making the stay enjoyable. The room was nice and the staff kept it well supplied with clean towels. The bed was a little high for my preference, had to "jump" into bed. Will definitely plan to return.

The resort and the staff were fabulous! It really was like coming home! It felt like we were old friends getting together. The staff was awesome! If you haven't had this experience, this is the place you need to be!!

Perfect perfect perfect, we want come back, The beach is spectacular, The Service is great

Great beach, food and pleasant staff. Bar service on the beach could have been better. The room was clean and newly renovated. Nice variety of restaurants and the chocolate party was fun. We would return again.

It's good place for family especially for children.

We spent 5 nights at Sandals Negril during the last week of August. Hands down, the staff are second to none! Everyone was so friendly. Chris at the pool/piano bar would bring us out a special drink each day when we got to the pool, also his co-workers Veniece, Andrew, Sandra and Ricardo were all extraordinarily friendly, fun and helpful. Omar at Bayside was awesome and so was Floyd at Sundowner. Ann Marie and Aundre at Concierge worked very hard to resolve an issue we encountered. The photographers seemed to always be available, they were good at what they did and were a lot of fun. Everyone seemed to have an attitude of "No problem, Mon." The food at the beach grill was wonderful! LOVED the Jamaican Patties and had some every day! We were disappointed that Kimonos was closed, however we were able to enjoy the one at Beaches. We ate breakfast at Sundowner twice and loved it, we also had a fantastic dinner there. The dinner and shows at Bayside were excellent. Breakfast and lunch there were buffet, meh. The pizza at Bella Napoli was good and so was Barefoot by the Sea. We weren't that impressed with Dino's. We were, however, very impressed with the beach grill and the level of pride the chefs took in preparation of the delicious grill food they served. It was by far the BEST outdoor grill/lunch food we have EVER had at ANY resort during any trip we have taken. Our room was always clean and the refrigerator was well stocked. The room itself was a bit dated and the shower was a bit "temperamental" as far as temperature goes. We have stayed in many newer and more beautifully appointed hotels in Mexico, for quite a bit less, so for the amount it cost to stay at Sandals, we really expected something special. That being said, the room and bed were comfortable, there was a nice TV and the air conditioning worked extremely well. We took a tip from a review we saw before we left and kept our bathroom door closed at night. Some mornings we woke up so cold that we actually had to turn the A/C off! We didn't take advantage of any of the snorkeling and diving activities, we did hear great things about them from other guests. We were mainly there to relax. The sea was very rough for the first couple of days we were there due to TS Isaac. The clouds made for some beautiful sunset pics! We really liked the small size of this resort as we got to see several of the same people and still enjoy peace and quiet time together.

This resort has been my best vacation experience ever. Every resort or vacation that I have been to in the past do not compare to this one. It is great spot to take kids. One of the great features of this vacation was - YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY YOUR WALLET AROUND. This resort is truly ALL-INCLUSIVE. They are not trying to fleece you at every opportunity. The staff were extraordinary. Their service was prompt, and they were always smiling.

I expected much more for the amount of money I paid. My wife and I spent four nights at Sandals. Honestly we were ready to leave the resort within a couple hours of our arrival. Jamaica and the majority of the people outside of the resort is an amazing experience. People who travel infrequently probably would disagree with my review.

We went for the first time 12/29-1/3 and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The place is beautifully maintained, the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food is uniformly good in all 5 or 6 restaurants. The crowd was a nice mix of ages and it was never loud or crazy. We had a fun time on the 3 1/2 hour sunset cruise that stopped at Rick's and Margaritaville that was definitely worth the extra $80 pp and my wife loved her massage/facial/bodywrap at the spa. We've already booked for next year, though we're going to try Sandals Whitehouse.

Hotel was under renevation due to the hurricane. The Beach smelled like a latrine. The restaurants were on the beach. Smelled so bad put your stomach off. Only three of the 6 or seven restautants were open. A lot of the food was frozen and reheated. Yuck frozen waffels.

We complained every day that all their bars were out of mint and couldn't make mojitos (essential for Caribbean resorts). Only one of the 4 days we were there, they could make mojitos for a short time. We also found a flying cockroach in our restroom (which housekeeping promptly took care of). The snorkeling was good. The staff was friendly. Wish they provided free wi-fi as well (should be part of an all-inclusive)

The Bad: Jamaica is a very poor country, and everyone outside the resort tries taking advantage of you. The resort is all inclusive to a point, there are a lot of activities that are not included that they will bother you about constantly. The check-in can also be very confusing if this is your first time to Jamaica, they don't really explain a lot. The Good: The staff is very friendly and energetic, the ocean is beautiful and the entertainment is fantastic. There are lots of things to do, and see.

We stayed just four nights but now we wished we had stayed at least seven nights. It was very hard to leave. Everything was just as described and illustrated by [...]. A very very relaxing trip!

We heard great things about this resorts and we gave it a try and it was great!! We wish stayed longer and next time, we sure will. All the staff were friedly and helpful; dining options were great, our favorites were beach grill ( must try jerk chicken sammy & ribs) and buffet restaurant (try local foods, they are very tasty and fruits- star apple- were very good); amenitiles were unbelievable! drinks (bottled water, OJ, coke, Jamaican fruits drinks etc) were complimentary in the mini fridge and big bottles of shampoo, conditioners, aloe vera lotion and body lotion in the bathroom. My husband really enjoyed playing games such as valley ball and horse shoes with various staff members; night entertainment was fun, especially if you participate; great activities were included (snorkeling, waterski etc) was so much fun. Take advantage of doing these activities multiple times as the locations of snorkeling changes. Beautiful beach and great drinks add to a memorable trip for you! We 100% recommend this place for your next trip destination!!!

We had a great time there. Once you get to the resort you feel safe and you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

Best ever for nice weather, great food, relaxing.Free internet and complimentary computers would have been nice. More shack foods, coffee bar between meals would be good.

Sandals Negril is a fun place to stay in Jamaica. Excellent staff, fine beach, great entertainment, lots of options. There are some drawbacks. Our room was one of many that are toward the back, and close to a very noisy thoroughfare. Add the noise of the air conditioner, and it is a challenge to stay asleep. Surprising, since the hotel staff proudly stated that this was a Premium and upgraded room. Clearly, the only place to stay is in the front rooms, on the beach side. Those rooms have been refurbished, have new TVs, and are very nice. For an additional $76 per night. Other drawback is the location. It's about a 90 minute ride from Montego Bay airport to the hotel. Lastly, I strongly suggest Not reserving any excursions on-line. You get locked into a trip, not knowing what it entails, and of course can't get out of it.

We enjoyed the beautiful beach along with the water activities included: the white sand, boat sailing, skiing, even aquacycling. Service was excellent, staff were courteous, they went beyond their comfort zone to keep you happy. We stayed in the more economical rooms, but noticed a big difference in quality compared with the higher priced. Cleanliness was a plus, but noise was something to consider next time.FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, plus eating by the sea was something beyond expectations!!!!

This was the best beach vacation that my wife and I have taken in a while. The staff were fantastic, friendly and professional. My wife and I wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and that's just what we did. The food at Sandals Negril is excellent and our room was great. We enjoyed the turn down service - what a plus! The room fridge was kept stocked with cold beverages and the houskeeping staff were wonderful. The variety of food was incredible! There were so many restaurants and so many food and beverage choices we were extremely satisfied our entire stay. The transportation from the airport to the hotel and back again was excellent, safe and courteous drivers were provided to us. The staff at this hotel are beyond excellent. They understand what hospitality really means, and we have stayed at many hotels so we know the difference. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and decorated. The beach peddlers were contained by the security and never became a problem for us. Everyone at this hotel was fantastic. We just can't say enough about how wonderful our vacation was at Sandals Negril, Jamaica and we have told all of our family and friends about it!
