As a family with a child we booked the junior suit for one weekend night. The reception manager whom was very nice and helpful, called prior to our visit and made sure we had all we need , which I felt was very accommodating and friendly, on arrival she said we where upgraded to a nicer room , which we at 1445 had to wait for due to not being ready. We found the room to be at a very low standard ; wet carpet floor, no extra small bed for our child and only two towels for three people booked. At some stage no water pressure in the shower! The TV remote not working and in general we had the felling the hotel was not very carol maintained ! Hallway at the 10th floor slowed smoking , and had bins by the elevators with ashes ! Main Lobby had a very bad unclean Oder ! The main entrance and parking to the hotel needs a serious clean, lots of rubbish in the parking area ! Breakfast was Ok View from the the room - fabulous and different! As an almost only option in Beer Sheva I am sad that's the level that is provided !
Located in the center of Beer Sheva. Lovely staff, excellent service. Nice pool. Free parking. Definitely recommended. We also saw activities for kids. Dinner & breakfast were fine, fresh juice, a minimal but great selection of food to suit everyone.
We booked a room for one night at the Leonardo Beer Sheeva hotel for our family of four. It was the most overpriced hotel, I have ever stayed at in all my years of traveling overseas. After paying an over inflated price on booking.com, the hotel informed us we had to pay an additional $150 for the kids to sleep on a chair. And the "double" room included two single twin beds. So we paid almost $400 and neither of my children even had a proper bed to sleep in for the night. If this hotel resided in the US, it would be considered in the $70-$90 a night range. This hotel was overpriced and not all that clean. Every time I moved something in the room, I found more hair. I moved a pillow, hair. I moved the runner on the bed, hair. When I went into the bathroom hair and marks on the tub, etc... Needless to say, we would not recommend this hotel. I was terribly disappointed, after a terrific stay at the sister Leonardo club in Tiberias. But we were informed by the manager in Beer Sheva there was no relation, and no connection to other chains even though they all had the same soap and shampoo bottles in the rooms?!?! Our stay left us feeling insulted and ripped off during our travels in Israel.
There are not a whole lot of options of places to stay when coming to Beer Sheva, but my advice is to get creative and perhaps maybe find a nice BnB outside of the city instead of staying at this hotel. The staff are super friendly and the pool is nice but crowded and allows smoking. Not a spot for relaxing but more like a refreshing dip. The rooms are mostly clean but definitely filled with signs of wear and tear. This place is fine for a night, but if you plan to spend a few days exploring the Negev I would not make this your home base.
We were moving house and only wanted to sleep there one night. We were upgraded to executive room which was very nice but for the short time we were there was not really necessary. Problem was with check in receptionist an the Guest Relationship Manager Oranit Gahari. My voucher from Agoda clearly stated, that as an Israeli citizen, I must pay 17% VAT to the hotel on check in. FINE. After discount I paid Israeli shekels 373.57 . !7% VAT on this amount was IS 63.51 (Approx. (18.14). I was told I must pay IS 84.11 ($23.36). REASON BEING that was what the computer said. Full Agoda price before discount was IS $558.20. VAT on this amount was IS 94.89. ($26.35). After arguing the difference I was sent to speak with Guest Relation Manager Ms Gahari. She wanted to see the receipt from Agoda, which I showed her. She then claimed that she has never heard of Agoda and how was she to know that I didn't fabricate the receipt. (Really for $5.-difference). She tried to explain that the computer does not make mistakes and that waswhat I must pay. She did promise to heck it out and give me an answer that evening. It is now 4 days and no answer. In the end I paid the full amount.

Had the pleasure of staying at Leonardo for a business trip in which my fiancee accompanied me. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was impressive and quality. Thanks to Natalie K. for helping plan activities for my fiancee and making our trip so much more successful!
Nice hotel in a very modern city in the Negev. Clean and comfortable room with Wi-Fi. Great selection at both the dinner and breakfast buffet. Would be very pleased to stay here again. Staff well prepared for our small tour group.
I travel to Beer Sheva every other year or so for work. I've been doing it for over 15 years. The hotel has had its ups and downs. On my most recent visit I can say that it was the cleanest I have ever seen it. It is not opulent, it could use refurbishment in some areas, the towels and linens are a bit thread bare, but it is clean. That hasn't been the case a few years ago. They have no real competition and they survive it seems on the social events of weddings and such on the weekends and the few business travelers during the week. There are rumors of a new business hotel to be built in the new tech center. It will be interesting to see. But until then, you have the Leonardo if you must stay overnight and don't catch the train into Tel Aviv. Don't expect much and you will not be disappointed. It's a clean place to shower and sleep.
I spent a total of 27 days/26 nights at the Leonardo Hotel Negev in Be'er Sheva last April and really enjoyed my time there. They have an excellent customer service team plus the Hotel staff members and Management team are great and really helpful too. The only thing to keep in mind is that that this Hotel doesn't offer self-serve laundry ... as Laundry here can be expensive at the hotel so many residents use “Mr. Bubbles” located near the hotel. All traffic lights are numbered here in Be'er Sheva, so go right out of the hotel to light number 12 and then go right to light number 11. Turn left and proceed to the next traffic light. Turn right and go towards the end of the street. You should park before you reach the end of the road. It is on the corner on the left as part of a small corner store with a local restaurant. Oh, DON’T FORGET TO BRING AN ADAPTER (or two) with you FROM THE US TO EUROPEAN TYPE, NO "GROUND" IS NECESSARY ... as they are not locally available here ... Plus, you can't find it at the nearby Shopping Mall either.
