This hotel isn't the most luxurious you will stay in. Indeed it was a bit more like a hostel than a hotel. The bath needed a good scrub and as other reviewers have stated the quilt for a double bed was too small. Also, there were no safes available at all. But that's enough of the nit picking. It is situated 15-20 mins walk into the town. It has a happy feel about it. The girls on reception and the cleaners were EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY. I asked the receptionist if she could recommend sites of interest to visit and next morning a large written itinerary awaited me all numbered and also clearly marked on a map. We paid €40 per night. I would be happy to recommend this hotel/hostel.
I stayed here for two nights with my partner and other family members. The price was very good, and the location decent - 5 minute walk from a huge supermarket, and 15 minute walk from the Old Town. The room was big with a nice room temperature so we did not freeze, but it was also quite basic, providing guests the most necessary things such as towels, shampoo, shower gel, drinking glasses, a fridge and a TV. However, our towels had yellow spots on them, and the duvet on the double bed was not large enough for two people to sleep comfortably. It would have been nice to have had cups and a kettle in the room so we could make a cup of tea before bed. Also, throughout the day and evening we would hear strange noises that sounded a bit like two people were getting a bit too cosy if you know what I mean. I believe, however, that these noises came from the pipes of other bathrooms. For breakfast there was a variety of breads, toppings, fruits, cakes and juices to choose from but the dining room was a bit too small - especially if more than two rooms were downstairs at the same time. Also, the tables were very uncomfortable to sit at because of their small size. I constantly hit the table legs with my knees, causing the whole thing to shake and spill coffees and tees. I suppose for the price Telecom Guest House is quite a good place, still. The service definitely made our stay more comfortable as the receptionists were always very helpful in giving us guidance and advice. It was probably one of the best services I have ever received to be honest. I truly thank them for that. So all in all: cheap, basic but with brilliant staff! Worth staying at if you're in town for just a couple of nights.
I felt at home since my check-in! the guys at the reception gave me a very nice welcome; they are really lovely and they gave so many informations about the city and events ... even better than google :) Rooms are comfortable and clean, you have all what you need. Of course it's not a 4 star hotel but trust me... you really feel at home there. Reception is open 24h, wi-fi works perfectly and you can have a very tasty breakfast. it's not straight in the city center, but you can easily walk there in 13 minutes (which gives you a chance to see the city). I don't like to walk but I can tell you the distance of this hotel to the center was really ok even for me :D I definitely will book again here next time I'll go to Vilnius. thank you guys for making my holiday a very special one!
The room was huge, but a bit dusty and outdated. Although it was very cheap. The walls were very thin, and we could hear pretty much everything from the surrounding rooms. It was about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Vilnius, quite a nice scenic route.
very clean Hotel, friendly stuff..and very cloused to the center.. they guys there, were very helpfull, and frinedly. you need only 10 min to be in the center. you can reach it in diffrent roads. lovely place and the supermakt is just 3 min far.
I have stayed only one short night in the hotel. Arrived late at night and depart very early in the morning. The room was small and clean. (1 bed room without brekfast) The staff was very friendly. One of the mayor advantages next to the very-very low price (bit less than 20 EUR) is the free and fast wifi connection of the room and a free secured parking. Next to this point I have to say that the facility of the room is poor. The bathroom was quite ugly. In sum I would say that if you intend to cover your Vilnius stay in a low budget version this is Hotel is the best choice.
This is a good value hotel in the middle of Vilnius city center. Close to the bus to the airport, close to Old Town, close to the shopping street and so on. The hotel is not the cleanest, nicest or biggest, but for the price its perfect. We stayed two nights in a twin room, good beds. Than I spent two night in a single budget room. Not as nice, but still okay for the price.
this hotel is in the center of Vilnius, not far from old town; near the hotel there is a big market open from 8 to 24 everyday, in case you need it. rooms are very clean, quiet, large, with confortable beds; staff is very nice, everytime is ready to help with suggestions about the city; you can keep your keys with you, if you come back after midnight, so you really fell like at home ;-)
Spent two nights here. You wouldn't stumble across this place by accident and the signpost from the road is hard to spot, especially at night, but it was clean, comfortable and well priced. Big double room, with a third bed in it, Decent shower/bathroom and free wifi, although in room 10 it was a little hit and miss. Breakfast is 14 litas, and is an all you can eat continental buffet with a good selection of yoghurts, fruit, cereal, bread, meat and cheese. It's a brisk 20 minute walk to the bus station from here, so well situated, although not on top of the Old Town.
The personal was very friendly and helpfull! We stayed at this Hotel for one night! Overall a god stay but it was smelling from the sink in the bathroom. At least we thought it was! But than we found at piece of [--] behind the toilet! This is why we cannot give a god rating!
