Hotel comes with free airport transfer when online booking, nice lobby and swimming pool, big and clean room. The only down size is, mostly China tourist and you can expect the breakfast are more towards China taste. Little Korean tourist and hardly seen any European. Next door has mini mart, money changer and local food store. Along the main road can find many "Chinese" restaurant, few Korea restaurant. About 2.7km to pub street, night market and old market. Take tok tok can bargain USD2 / trip.
We were a group of 9 Couples and was recommended this decent 3 Star + Hotel suitable to our Budget. The Hotel is located fairly close to the City center and one can go back and forth by Tuk Tuk by paying US$ 3 per way. The buffet breakfast spread offers wide variety and is sumptuous. The Standard Rooms are fairly large and comfortable. Try to get a room on the upper floors facing the Pool. The Hotel was full with Chinese Tourists during our stay and quite noisy in the common areas which we had to make do. The staff though busy was always ready to be of service. The pool is fairly large and inviting especially during the warm summer.
I love the location and every local is familiar of the hotel's location. I love the hotel vibe as it is very classy. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good if you are a vegetarian! We enjoyed the pool!
I was recommended to this hotel as a 4-Star hotel. In reality, I will give this a 3-. I stayed in the new wing at the back and was told that it is less than 1-year old. Room is large, but furnishing and amenities are sparse. The bath is not fitted out well - shower head sprays water from the back. Wash cloth is not standard here and we did not get floor mat. Lipton tea bags (2) were provided without the packing just bare sachets - I guess this is to prevent guest from taking them home Fitness Center has good equipment, but room is not air conditioned, hot and humid. Equipment never wiped down - sticky and nasty to touch
The hotel is located on route 6 about 3 km from the center of Siem Reap. The center can be easily reached by tuk tuk ($2 each direction). The hotel is large and it is far from being a 4 star hotel. The rooms are big but very old dated, the shower was not clean when we arrived, the flow of water was OK. Breakfast is very crowded and not very clean.
Oh dear not what we expected. There were substantial building works underway and as a result was noisy to the extent that what should have been relaxing time by the pool was impossible. The restaurant at breakfast time was not clean, the food/drinks not of a reasonable quality and food/drinks not replenished without having to ask for it. This was not good enough. Apparently frequented by Koreans and Chinese so us westerners were very much in the minority; not that this is a problem only we felt alienated. Cheap tuk tuk to the centre and happy hour in the bar were plus points. Not recommended.
Big hotel with attentive staff, nice rooms and an inviting pool. Breakfast is okay and tries to cater for different nationalities. the public areas are not air conditioned and tend to get warm and humid and are a bit dark . All in all decent enough for a few days
Good things first. Staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel has a decent pool (might come in handy on late afternoon after the long tours around Angkor), extensive a la carte menu and 24h room service. Large rooms. Laundry is fast (pick up and delivery around 6h), although expensive for Cambodia. It's located 2.5Km from downtown, pretty acceptable for a 3USD / 7-min ride on a tuk-tuk. The downside of it relates to our unlucky experience. At arrival, the room had a bad view and we were changed into a new one. The tradeoff was that it was noisy due to hotel expansion works currently undergoing on the side. Additionally, the entire hotel lost its hot water on that same night, sorted a few hours after. The room's safety box also lost its batteries the day after with all my belongings inside... took them 1h to sort it out and find the universal-security key. Breakfast is below average, besides being noisy and crowded. Final note: take your insect repelant. You'll need it, rooms have a lot of mosquitos. All in all, for Siem Reap, you pay for what you get. Fair enough.
I thought that this was, generally, a pleasant hotel. Rooms were large and the airconditioning worked. Nice enough swimming pool, but problematic when we visited because of building noise. Breakfat buffets not good. Hotel seems to cate predominantly for Chinese tourists who decended on breakfast rather like a horde of locusts and left little for us. One day the buffet was not refilled, nor the egg station staffed. I think there are not enough staff as the area issn't very very clean and tables are not cleared/reset. We had to scavenge around for cutlery.
The hotel has good facilities and extremely friendly and helpful staff.Sithorng was especially helpful and has made this a very enjoyable experience. She will be sure you your needs are met.The information she provided was invaluable.
