We checked in for a 3 day stay and were presented with a room that had lighting that didn't work. Television that didn't work. Dirty towels in the wardrobe and I WIFI. After numerous phone calls and people back and forth from our room I insisted on a room change which came through eventually. This from at least had clean towels but the bathroom drain didn't work. The bed was rock hard and we were left with half used amenities in the bathroom. (Dirty bottles). I understand about not wasting but that went a bit too far. Our bags were delivered to our room while we were on an afternoon out and the bell boy told us this at least 3 times that he was the one. ( I do tip for all baggage delivered but to be hassled for it was inappropriate) I loved Siem Reap but would never come back to this hotel.
We've been here 2 nights now and have one more to go, help us! Really do not like this hotel, at all! From the outside, it looks nice. Good pool area, nice lobby and the rooms are of a good size. See pics. However: - single glazed windows that do not fit the frame. Our room is at the front and both nights we've been kept up until 12 because of loud music blaring from across the street. We can actually hear it over the volume of the TV on high! We did call and speak to reception, the music went down for about 3 mins then back up to full volume. I appreciate this is not in the hotels control but we asked to be moved and were ignored. Maybe better windows? - hard beds, and I mean a tiled floor would be better, and trust me we know from staying in home stays! - Luke warm water. We actually had warmer water in the middle of a wooden hut with no electricity in the Amazon last year. - poor range/quality of breakfast. - work going on either in the hotel or right next door so when you are knackered (from watching the sunrise at Angkor), you can't chill out anywhere because of the power drills etc and banging incessantly. So basically no rest at all for two days so far! - shocking wifi. We've been on the road a month so communication is important to us and it is just not practice here. It does not work in the rooms and when In one of the public areas it drops out continually so you are continually changing from one wifi station to the next. Better to go to one of the local cafes and have a drink and order wifi. We've travelled a lot and been to many countries and hotels and this was in our poorest bracket of accommodation, and we have stayed in some choice locations! Didn't feel particularly listened to when we raised these concerns. Location is ok, but nicer hotels are available in more central locations so would recommend looking at alternatives. It is only a 20 min walk to the centre but no real footpaths because they are either in poor repair or are taken over by parking and cafes so not good if you have children or mobility difficulties. Just go elsewhere.
Good 3 star (they claim 4*) hotel with spacious rooms and central location close to night market etc. Breakfast buffet is decent with good spread. Wifi is patchy and not good in all the floors. Also they cut off hot water supply in the evening hours probably to save costs.
This hotel is spic-and-span with wonderful ambience and interior decoration. The rooms are spacious with absolute value for money. The swimming pool is excellent with temperature control and jacuzzi. The breakfast spread is varied and mouth watering.
Extremely spacious entry area. A welcome drink and cool towel, well appreciated. Staff friendly and attentive. What a lovely room, so spacious. Beautiful clean pool and great area to relax and have a drink. Breakfast was good. We would have given the Angkor Holiday hotel a 10/10 except the shower wasn't very hot and didn't have much pressure - pity.
Less than 10 mins walk to the heart of town (even if you don't take a tuktuk) and plenty of good food in the area. Can cycle from hotel to Angkor Wat too. Front desk largely disinterested and unhelpful but there is always TripAdvisor! Nice pool for the kids and decent breakfast. Rooms nothing special and took a couple of asks to get a shower curtain added to save flooding the floor.
Great place to stay and very close to the markets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very relaxing after a long day touring around. Food was great especially the breakfast. Would certainly stay again.
Lovely location close to most things. Staff were friendly and nothing a hassle for them. Shower leaked all over floor but once we place towels at each end of shower we had no problem & keep curtain inside bath at all times, it was all great!!!location was lovely and pool area was perfect @ night surroundings except a man spitting in & around pool area. Aircon was brilliant & no ants in our room. Even on rainy days we made our fun and we all . Happy to this holiday accommodation to anyone. Lovely short stay but would definitely go here again . Regards sharyn
The hotel is very spacious with light airy feel. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and only 10 minutes walk to the markets. Our room was clean and well appointed. The staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast buffet was extensive. We ate in for dinner one night and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. We would stay again. Recommended.
I stayed here for 6 nights in June/July. The location was excellent, walking distance of pub street and good restaurants. The room was very clean and very spacious, excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. Also, the staff were very helpful when I had a question.
