This is a humongous resort with many different lodging options which go from expensive to ridiculously expensive. Don't be fooled by advertisements which make it sound like the rooms are reasonably priced because once they add on all the taxes, fees and resort charges, the price goes way up! It is an incredible resort, especially if you take advantage of all that it has to offer, such as the amazing water park and aquarium, but it's not worth the price if you just want to lay on the beach or at the pool. On the downside, we did have some issues with our room and service (asked 4 times for towels and were almost late to our dinner reservation waiting for them), which made the high price that much more difficult to swallow. We like to eat in nice restaurants so we spent more than $1000 for three people for 3 dinners, but you can eat more reasonably than that, but even the casual restaurants are not cheap.

Although the park was great for kids and families everything is way overpriced, food especially, excursions etc. For as much as they charge for rooms the food is rediculously overpriced.

You simply cannot say anything negative about the Bahamas as a destination. However I can say that Atlantis itself is very close to a lost cause. I could write a novel on how bad the rooms are, how the staff clearly does not want to be there, and how run down the facility has become. Talk to a local and you will hear all about how the new Canadian investor ownership has destroyed the magic. My advice to you is not to avoid the Bahamas but please avoid Atlantis...

There are so many activities at this hotel. We had a very positive experience. In addition to all the obviously amazing things (water park, aquarium, beach, casino, etc.) some of the less obvious features are excellent as well...for example the fitness center and the library.

Was really nice resort. Lots of activities. Near the beach. Room was not very nice I expected a lot nicer for the price charged.

December 10-17 2016 Excellent resort. Temperature around 80 deg F. My two young kids had good time.

I loved this hotel. Restaurant choices are quite pricey, but it's just a short trip away from town that offers great affordable food. Local food!!!

My husband and I come here for our honeymoon...it was one of the most beautiful places we'd ever been. There was a hurricane while we stayed, the hotel did an excellent job of keeping everyone safe and occupied during this time. Definitely coming back soon!!

From the moment we arrived, there was nothing but elegance and fun... Probably the friendliest and most accommodating staff that I have ever run across in my travels. Never came close to any problems with my accommodations, or hotel amenities This will be our new frequent vacation spot. Strongly recommend for vacationers of "EVERY AGE"

Atlantis is the place you want to be. There's so much going for different ages and overwhelming sometimes. Do some homework before heading there.

Well, the venue itself is gorgeous... Beyond words beautiful. However, we had a roach in our room, the toilet broke, my son's electronic device chord was thrown away, and the food is VERY expensive. The socket in the bathroom was also disconnected from the wall and there were items left under our bed. Despite all of that, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Most of the staff were welcoming and there are a variety of activities for the entire family.

After staying at the Atlantis a year ago, I have had yet another bad/horrible experience. The property is a months and the efficiency is low. My original room smelled like sewage so the bell man had to request a second room. After they switched me, the order was much better; however the bathroom was dirty the faucet in the tub never shut off so all night I heard leaking and drips. Anytime I go to the front desk there was a line of at least 25 minutes with 3 to 4 tellers. I couldn't even check out or I would've missed my flight because the line again was extremely long. Also everything is totally overpriced, given that you're paying for over $400 a room per night. Staff is friendly; however, non-accommodating. I called to get my room cleaned almost every day and of course I come back with no room cleaned.

Arrived - got charged an EXTRA $250 because I had three in a room that held 4 saw bugs in the room some guest broke a glass in the hall outside our door FOUR calls before someone was sent up to vacuum it up (I picked up the large pieces) never had any hand towels (We're out of them,,,, , ,REALLY??? ) Not to mention every meal for three was an average of $160-180 - you have to leave the resort to get any reasonably priced meal. You can't purchase any soft drinks on site - they make you use the mini bar (at inflated prices). NOT what I expected. Not going back and I travel a lot!!

Nice place to spend a nice time with a family or alone

Had a great family vacation. However, the hotel staff took our medication and drink from our in-room refrigerator. Hotel did not return them to us and gave a discount instead of returning the same item.

great place to relax water features are excellent. Staff couldn't be better

When I arrived to my room, TV was not working, Safe box was broken, TV remote was missing, carpet was old and not clean. Overall, I feel I paid too much for an average hotel in a beautiful location.

Loved location of room. Checked in early with an upgrade. Very friendly staff. Clock and coffee maker need to be replaced. The carpet outside of bathroom remained wet. There must be a leak. We had wine and dine. Nice perk! We enjoyed our stay.

Atlantis has a lot to do and great pools and beaches. Amenities are expensive as are all activities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Outdoor eateries were VERY expensive and mediocre food. Food at restaurants was good, but again very expensive.

Atlantis Royal Towers was a nice hotel, staff was generally helpful and friendly, grounds were well kept. Some of the water slides were closed during our stay, which was disappointing.
