Staff: Clerk who checked us in seemed to be training, asked lots of repetitive questions or ones that did not make sense. All with good intentions. He showed my wife the room ahead of the booking and really tried. The other employee (manager?) shut down the breakfast rather abruptly at 9 AM precisely, but allowed my son with special needs behind the front desk to show him something that had gained his interest. This manager (?) told us about his theater performance the previous night. Nice. The breakfast included no eggs, yogurts, or vegetables, but did include more pastries than usual. The swimming pool looked great, but we had no time to enter. The neighborhood was not great, to say the least. The beds were comfortable, the main room looked old and was limited in space, the bathroom (shower only), on the other hand, was renewed and spacious. There was coffee all day in the lobby. Altogether a positive experience, fairly priced, close to downtown Nashville.
