The cleanliness of the rooms was terrible. The staff was very friendly, decent breakfast in the morning and was quiet.
Okay I will start with what was good about the property. There was an old little cemetery beside it that I enjoyed to walk thru. The desk staff were friendly and the bathroom seemed to be recently remodeled. Now for the bad stuff, its back off the road by a building being constructed so it is not very appealing when you drive to it. The place smelled BAD, I mean really BAD. The hallway smelled weird like a combination of cucumbers, bad weed and mildew. The elevator was filthy. Now the room was horrible, it smelled very musty and the carpet on the floor felt so dirty I had to wear sandals every time I was out of bed. There was dirt and debris in the corners of the room. The AC would not go below 69 and it never felt like it was below 71 in the room so I basically sweat to death all night. The bed I will say was nice and comfortable, sheets and comforter looked and smelled clean so no complaints there, bathroom seemed clean as well. I do not recommend this place, I got up at 630 and hustled out of this place as soon as I could and went to my daughter's hotel at Candlewood and it was like night and day difference in cleanliness and SMELL.
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and plentiful.
Service was great. The parking is not so great. Very clean and reasonable pricing.
It was very quiet as the property is nestled next to vacant property. The hotel is being renovated and is missing baseboards and trim. It appears the workers performing the renovations are living in the hotel as well and some of them speak english.
