Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in the US. Disgustingly dirty carpet, socks black after walking on it. Looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for years. Unpleasant unhelpful staff as well - avoid at all costs!!!
If you think it can’t be as bad as the reviews, you are wrong. Hands down the worst hotel ever. Only stayed here for 7 hours and regretted every minute. Filthy. Mold. Lots of damage. Old. Stains. Uck.
Take my advise, DO NOT STAY HERE. Seriously. Don’t stay here. The smell alone would send a mortician running. The clogged sink with mold infused water was the essence of the enviorment. The ghosts of dead hookers was more comforting the the room itself.
The staff is rude, dishonest, and very unprofessional. The rooms we were offered had large leaking hole in the ceiling and pull out couch with mattress with inside falling. We came to the area for the SEC Tournament. We had no plans of being in the room much so we looked for a cheaper option and we had really low expectations. We were only looking for a clean place to sleep and shower. We arrived after 11 pm on Friday night. When we arrived to check in we were optimistic even though the outside and lobby looked nothing like the pictures. We were given keys and went on the search for the room. When we arrived at the room it smelled old but we expected that. We opened the bathroom door and the floor was covered in water and the tub was full of water because there was a large hole in the ceiling that was leaking. When we returned to the front desk we were given another room that we had to hike three flights of stairs to and when we got there once again the smell was bad. We opened the pull out couch and mattress was busted and falling apart. When we returned to the front desk the clerk told us the hotel was full and he could not accommadate us. So when we asked for a refund he said he could split us up, one person in the king room, and the rest of us stay in the room witht he busted ceiling and walk back and forth to another room to use the bathroom. When we said this is unacceptable he stated he would just give us someone's else's room that had not checked in yet and give them the busted room. We were not okay giving someone else the same problem so we demanded a refund and the clerk told us to return in the morning so the manager could issue the refund. When we returned the next morning the manager stated we should have toughed it out for one night because all she could do was issue a refund for one night only. She stated we needed to speak to the owner of the property and he might be able to help or we could dispute the charge with the bank. They were very unprofessional and expected people to be okay with damages and stealing a room from other guests.
I would have better off just sleeping in my car. Place is disgusting and smells horrible. You couldn't pay my to stay here again. When we complained to the front desk that our room smelled like someone had just chain smoked for a week they said their was nothing they could do. The guy literally handed be a bottle of their "air freshener" spray. This place has to violate some health codes right? Someone needs to get this place shut down.
I brought my family here and there were hookers and drug dealers everywhere. They also took a 50 dollar deposit that they were supposed to refund and they never did. Do not stay here run! This place should be shut down
Filthy room, old and musty, smelled like smoke and the worst part-they rented my room with me in it and people came in my room at 4 am! They will not return phone calls and I cannot get credit. Worst hotel-stay anywhere but here.
For the love of God never stay here! The phones were ripped from the walls. One TV fell apart and the other had one channel. The stained curtains wouldn't close. When we had to use are cell phones to call the front desk, we were told it was the best room. They wouldn't refund our money. When I checked the bed it had glass in it, and on the floor. This was the worst place I have ever stayed, and I wish it were closed down!
This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences i have ever had. Hot water doesn't work, toilets are messed up, we tried to call house keeping multiple times and got no where. Stay here is you have a hooker
We had a delayed flight and couldn’t make the 4 hour drive home. Woman at front desk was very rude to me when I asked for a AAA discount. Room was awful! If only I had read reviews first and not been focused on price. We were only staying 6 hours before driving home 🏡
