La Quinta Inn Nashville South

The room was pretty good overall. Very convenient to get to downtown Nashville and fraction of what you would pay to stay there. The room was clean, but we almost choked on air freshener and had to throw open the windows as soon as we walked in. The front walls are pretty thin, so you can hear everyone walking around and hanging outside. Overall, I'd stay again.

The facility is not I was expecting looking at it online. Each room door has a separate entry from the outside, not a typical hotel setup that u enter your room through the main lobby. Bathroom is clean but needs improvement.

The bed had a giant hole in the center of it. we let the manage know but they did not accommodate us at all. the hotel is next to the freeway despite advertisement claiming that it is in a great part of town.

Room very noisy sandwiched between an interstate and railroad yard and next to a restaurant with delivery trucks and garbage trucks beeping all night. Complained to front desk and they moved us to another room in the middle of hotel that had been used by cigarette smokers. Complained again they moved us back to the original noisy room. Had to sleep with fan running and TV on all night. Needles to say no sleep or rest. In the morning after shower my wife found that the hair dryer was not working had to make two calls to get a replacement. Upon check out expressed my concerns and staff just shrugged there shoulders and said nothing that they could do

The location is good. The exteriors are really old. I arrived at night and the man who was is the front desk was not freindly at all. He did not know how to respectfully treat the guests. He even did not know his job. Check in was terrible. Room cleanness was not bad at the first look, but the bed sheets were very old and shoer curtain full of fungai.

Room smelled, carpet look bad,bed not comfy. Loud outside.

When we first arrived there was mold on the bottom of our shower curtain, bathroom needs some upgrades (re-caulk tub, tub is uneven and actually moves underneath you because it was not settled properly. There was a patch of ceiling tearing off in the middle of our room. Other guests were noisy some evenings outside and we could hear the conversations of the next room over when they were talking with a normal voice.

The room was extremely dirty. There was white crusty stuff (I assume frosting) all over the tv remote. The floor boards and corners were black with grime. The shower was dirty. There was a strong mildew smell in the bathroom. Everything seemed very old and not well taken care of. The tv remote didn't work very well, but then there were only about ten crappy channels anyway. The beds were very comfortable and seemed clean. The staff we interacted with at check in and check out were very friendly.

I booked my room last minute so maybe this was the issue, but Orbitz said I received the last room. When I arrived I was asked to"go check my room and make sure it was clean." I shouldn't have to do this because THATS NOT WHAT I PAY FOR. The staff was friendly but lacked a professional appearance. The room is outdated except for the bed. Anyhow, a poor experience overall.

The bed was super comfy!! However there were gnats flying all over the room, the bathtub was lopsided and the shower head pointed outward so you had to stand at the back of the tub to be under the water. Very few channels and tiny tv. Fridge was dirty and the shelves were out. I felt like we payed way too much for the quality we got

Very helpful front desk attendant who made excellent recommendations. Very comfortable bed.

Nice place except for the bed. You have to drive a few miles to find a place to eat.

Not even a 2 1/2 star hotel. Very disappointed, pretty much a rat hole !!! Not worth the 147.00 paid for it !!! Would not stay again or recommend to friends,

The staff was excellent but the rooms were not very good. The bathtub was a horrible experience

Very nice people and the breakfast was good. The room, not so much. Bathroom door would not shut as it was warped, mold on the tub and the ceiling. The tub had a rubber mat in it that was old and stained and had been cut with a pair of scissors by a shaky hand. Showerhead was clogged. Mattresses on the bed were subpar. Pool was nice. I've stayed in better La Quinta's and paid less.

Our room was supposed to be non smoking but it clearly wasn't. After requesting another room (and then another) we had to finally settle for a room that smelled almost as bad as the first. Our clothes stink! The tub was missing a shower curtain, the phone was filthy and didn't work, and the toilet ran all night. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

I stayed at the hotel while I was in town for an exam for school. Upon driving up to the inn I was disappointed because the exterior looked so run down.

Hotel location was great except for the road noise. We were in the center on the north face of the hotel.

We were in Nashville for a conference in mid-town. We chose the hotel because the rate was more affordable than the mid-town hotels and the drive was manageable. It was a great value. While modest, it was clean. It would have been great to have had a refrigerator.

Room appeared to have not been cleaner very thoroughly prior to our arrival.
