To those not familiar with Nashville’s layout, the area dubbed by locals as ‘East Nashville’ is an urban trendy & eclectic part of town, made popular by our local musicians, fashionistas & foodies! It features countless hubs of restaurants, coffee shops & music venues with a great walk score. It is just a short 5-10 minute Uber to Broadway, The Titan’s Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena (home of The Nashville Predators), Top Golf, The Riverfront and so much more…

‘Speak Easty’ is what we have fondly dubbed this wonderful vacation home. A play on words courtesy of its geographic location & unique hidden door speak easy room we invite our guests to enjoy. So what is behind our hidden door? The answer is a place to sit & relax with friends in a timeless setting. Be it at the bar, on one of our comfy leather arm chairs, laid out on a chaise longue or enjoying a game of shuffleboard while listening to some quality music as folks do in Nashville!

The location of this particular property is second to none. Unlike the dime-a-dozen tall and skinny townhomes that tend to monopolize the vacation rental offerings in Downtown Nashville, this building has a true home feel to it. An original cottage on a historical street, with a cozy fenced-in back yard, delightful ‘people watching’ front porch & coffee shops, restaurants & even an ice cream parlor literally within a few steps from your front door. It truly doesn’t get better than this!

So here’s some things you’d likely want to know about the rest of the house and how the bedrooms & beds are set up:

On the main level, we feature 2 spacious bedrooms, a full bathroom, relaxing living room, fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar & the infamous hidden speak easy hangout. You also have direct access to our fenced-in back yard where you can enjoy the ambient cafe’ rope lighting to sip a glass of wine around our picnic table or share stories around the fire pit.

Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and sleeps up to (2 people).

Bedroom #2 has a queen bunk bed, with a queen trundle underneath. That’s 3 queen sized beds that sleep up to (6 people).

The living Room has a queen sleeper sofa that can sleep up to (2 people)

Finally, upstairs features a large bedroom area and a full bathroom. This room has 2 x double beds that sleep up to (4 people)

In summary, we have a total of 7 beds, all of which are queen or double in size. We allow a maximum of 10 guests to stay in our home at any given time, and thanks to the variety of beds to choose from, theoretically it could accommodate 14, so hosting 10 or less feels spacious and relaxing for your stay.

We always encourage guests to utilize Nashville’s ride share options when visiting this wonderful city as it makes getting too and from the airport and navigating around town very easy. However, if you are joining us with a rental car or driving in from afar, then we can accommodate for 2 vehicles to the rear of the home within our fence. Additional parking beyond this is scarce so we don’t recommend groups with more than 2 vehicles.
