This property has some of the nicest accommodations that you will find for this price. Four pillows per bed, 2 soft - 2 firm. Modern bath with granite countertop. Fridge/Microwave, Iron, Hair dryer. Very Clean. Quiet. Full Breakfast.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was adequate for one night stay for a very early morning flight. Our early flight caused us to miss breakfast. This location is easy to miss once you exit the freeway. Don't attempt during rush hour traffic, no easy turn around.
Located on the west side of Nashville just off I-40 East. Busy commercial area with many shopping centers and many different (mostly fast food, chain) places to eat. Waffle House across the parking lot. 3 story hotel. Not a lot of parking, tight spaces. Underlying cigarette stench in lobby, hallways, common areas, and my room. Whatever they are using to cover it up is almost working, but not quite. Asked for upper floor room, was assigned 2nd floor right across from elevator. Room was large, mostly clean. DirectTV, newer TV, many channels. The coffee maker, shower, and AC unit all worked well. The bed was very comfortable and I actually got a good nights' sleep, the floor was quiet through the night. To turn left from hotel access road and go south on White Bridge Rd. just about any time of day - forget it. You'll sit for 20 minutes before you surrender. I paid north of $150 for my room - not sure how they justify charging that much, as the hotel is not that close to downtown or any big attractions, and pretty far from the Airport.
The Comfort Inn is a hotel they have tried to make some upgrades to. I would give it 2 - 2.5 stars. It seems that a lot of people were staying there for business because a lot of commercial trucks were outside. The parking lot is very small and almost full when I arrived. (10 pm) the room I had was huge. It was right next to the elevator, so I was worried about the noise, but they had installed a strip on the eliminated all noise. The room had a refrigerator and sofa. You can see by the pictures that the sofa didn't look like it fit even though the room was very large. The hotels interior and exterior are not the best even though they have had a few updates. Because it is in Nashville, it is pricey for a stay. My stay totaled about $170. This was too much for this Comfort Inn.
For the price this was awful!! Mold in bathroom on the wall. On sink. Plaster missing in bedroom. Of course it was noisy but that is no excuse for such filth. The word disgusting comes to mind. Overpriced Will not recommend to anyone nor stay here again. Very sorry state of room. Even holes in ceiling.
Television set did not work. Spent 30 minutes trying to fix. Desk Clerk came up and spent 30 minutes trying to fix. Never worked properly. Using DirecTV with the dish control box mounted on back side of TV set where it could not see the remote control device. Bed was extremely high and my short wife had great difficulty getting into it. Bathroom sink barely dribbled water making it hard to shave or wash hands efficiently. Room stunk to high heaven. Desk clerk said he would bring up a Fabreze, or something similar, to see if it made it any better. Never showed up. On check out they promised a discount for all the aggravation. Credit Card statement showed that none was given. I would not stay in this hotel again if the room was free.
This hotel doesn't look very fancy on the outside but the room was very clean the beds slept well and the free breakfast was great they had the cleanest tub I've ever seen in a hotel so that was a plus for me they are literally minutes away from everything and walking distance to a Waffle House I enjoyed my stay and the free Wi-Fi was great
Warm friendly greetings from the front desk staff. Breakfast the next morning attendant in constantly, refilling, socializing with guest. Great choice for breakfast. Loved the updated rooms. Would not hesitate to stay again
Ok, not much to look at, ...a little run down, not much of a view, carpet in the hall shows a little wear and tear....... B U T!..once I got in my room.... Ahhhhhh the NEW UPDATED PILLOWTOP, COMFORTABLY FIRM BED, well it made everything worth the stay! I am here on business and needed to get good sleep, check! The shower is awesome, reminded me of a mini spa, flat screen TV, free wifi, and free hot breakfast, fridge and microwave, friendly staff...didn't need much else. Within close distance of some recommended restaurants. Would definately come back. =)
Hotel was nice. Room was clean. Several family members stayed for a local wedding. Location ok - hard to get in or out if have to go left as there is no traffic light. Breakfast ok. Good variety. Lots of restaurants in vicinity. Good Mexican restaurant within walking distance.
