Clarion Inn Murfreesboro

Recent guest reviews

We came to Murfreesboro to go to a concert in Bell Buckle. We loved every minute of our stay.

If you just stop at the front desk which is clean and occupied with friendly employees, this stay is a success. However, the rest of the hotel is a dump. The interior hallway to my room was littered with leaves and trash; the door that was supposed to be accessible by card key only was wide open, all the time. My room had trash behind the nightstand and not nearly enough electrical outlets. Breakfast was decent, but carpets needs vacuuming.

We asked about cancelling our reservation on saturday. Told us we had to talk to manager on monday. Manager was not there on monday. We requested a refund for our last two days. Explained how horrible the rooms were and his reply was "and yet you stayed here". I told him we didn't have a choice because I was going to lose $250. At that point we just walked out and stayed someplace else. It looked like people were living there on a permanent basis. Take this one off your list of choices. HORRIBLE!

The hotel located near I-24, within easy driving to VA & St. Thomas hospital. Shopping/restaurants close by, also great parks!

Have stayed here in the past-has declined in appearance, cleanliness, feeling of safety and staff efficiency

The floors in the room felt like I was walking in someone's basement. I know dog friendly but my dogs don't even live like the hotel room I stayed in. The amenities did not make up for it!

Smelled like someone puked in the bathroom. The exhaust of the room air conditioners exits into the hall making it feel like you're cooking as you try to leave.

Outside condition was poor, needs painting, entrance/exit doors need repair, stairs and hallways need cleaning, outside pool was not functional and needed major repairs, rooms next to inside pool and meeting rooms was extremely noisy and guest using these facilities were loud and noisy up to midnight...no control from management to control guest or activities. They were having a "Youngs" Reunion according to outside billboard and those guest ran wild...loud and noisy up until midnight. Called desk and they told me that they only had one person on duty and that they couldn't leave the main desk. These were adults running in and out of the meeting rooms hollering and acting stupid. Had trouble with the card keys working on door 208. Had to return to desk three times to finally get a card key that would work. I was told to play with the handle and work the card key up and down until it opened. They didn't have anyone on duty to open the door.

It was good for one night, but definitely not a 4 or 4 star because of the carpet and shower out dated and seemed dirty.

The rooms in the hotel are being renovated. Our room had already been remodeled and was clean and comfortable. The beds were great and pillows looked and felt brand new! The outside condition of the hotel was a bit discouraging, but once inside, it was much better. The indoor pool and video games game my boys something to do without spending a lot of money. Overall, I was very pleased with the accommodations and recommend it to anyone on a budget!

hotel clerk didnt give me a receipt at checkout. said that orbit would send one

The hotel is extremely outdated. The pool is tiny and the hot tub was dirty. Our last day while preparing for checkout we found a roach in the bathroom.

Old hotel that has been redone, but the footprint was bad to begin. It's an old Holiday Inn makeover done on the cheap.

Breakfast was very good. The hotel is well-outdated. Needs to be torn down. Easy checkin and checkout. Good location too.

Sixties style motel at its worst. Room was terrible(dated, dirty & cramped). Had no in room safe like advertised and never heard back from mgmt when I complained. Only good thing was continental breakfast. Don't go here!

Shaky at first. Received key to an occupied room. What a shocker that was to say the least!

Enjoyed our stay here as the atmosphere was kid friendly. The commons area was well enjoyed by all. We will definitely stay here again.

The room needed refreshing. It was outdated and had cracks in the wall joints, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and was never vacuumed during my stay. The staff was very cordial and the (included) breakfast buffet was ample and quite good. Overall average, maybe a bit less. Stayed at other Clarions which were superior.

Chris, at the desk was quick to accommodate our special room request. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Thanks. Gary Mousseau

Very good experience overall. Older but clean and maintained. Sales mgr. (Steph) is outstanding.. Some rooms are outside access so take your pick.
