The quality and amenities are above par for any hotel I've stayed in. I travel quite frequently, so I feel I have a good basis on which to judge quality. From the welcome glass of wine, to chocolates in our room, the turn down service w tea, a beautiful breakfast brought to the room, departing gift and all in a perfect location to walk all of downtown. The staff was beyond helpful and kind. We will return!

Great stay in Napa! Nice to have so many places to walk to for dinner.

Gorgeous, perfect location, glass of wine at check in, most comfortable beds ever!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Really liked this place in Napa. Great location -- close to restaurants, bars, some shopping and a great start to visiting the Napa wineries. Great breakfast in the morning delivered to your room. My only caveat is that, the side of the hotel where our room was located is very, very close to [essentially, shares a gangway with] a very popular restaurant. The noise from the restaurant is extraordinarily loud [like any restaurant as you would expect], notwithstanding our windows were closed. When the restaurant closes, it's fine, when it's open, it's an issue and I couldn't fall asleep. I would probably stay at this place again just because everything else was nice and the location was so good.

Was a short, business trip stay but will plan to stay longer next time. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great location.

Luxurious room with fireplace. The bathroom was huge with a shower and tub. We actually stayed as long as we could without paying for late checkout! The bed was so comfortable and the complimentary breakfast (don't forget to fill out your order the night before) from the bakery in the same building was so good! Free parking. Our room didn't have a view, we stayed in one of the "Historic" rooms above the lobby and it was very private.

Wonderful hotel and great location. So much to do and see in downtown Napa. Delicious restaurants

All the staff go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. From the moment you check in you feel pampered. You and your luggage are taken to a splendid room well equipped with all necessary supplies. For breakfast the choices are having it delivered so the balcony can be enjoyed, or visiting a cozy cafe. Here besides savoring the smells of breakfast there is the ambience of meeting fellow travelers and comparing experiences.

Classy hotel. Complimentary wine at check-in was a nice touch! Great location! Close to many restaurants and shops.

Booked this hotel for 30th anniversary stay in Napa Valley. It was part of a multi-city vacation that involved numerous hotels and cities. This small boutique hotel is in an excellent location to enjoy downtown Napa and the staff was very courteous at all times, although our only exposure to them was at check-in. Of all of the hotels we stayed at during our anniversary vacation, this was the ONLY hotel that did not extend any congratulations or other gestures to commemorate our special-celebration occasion. They did upgrade our room - at an increased monetary cost, of course. Not really asking for anything elaborate, but as I also work in the service industry,I am aware every little thing counts, even if only a small token gesture. There was nothing - unlike the other 3 hotels. As this particular hotel stay was the most anticipated (and romantic) a little something would've really been nice to cap-off our 30 year celebration to make it feel like we were truly a valued customer on our first stay - or not, I guess. They did, however, notify us that as a potential return customer, we would qualify for a discount for our next stay. Overall, other than the excellent and convenient location, there was nothing remarkable about the experience.

We were disappointed to find our room was not 'on' the river-front and in an 'annexe' to the original hotel. Maybe this 'misunderstanding' was due to us booking through a 'third-party'. The location is excellent but our 'view' was of an alley/rooftops (which had admittedly been beautified with beautiful flowers/plants). We just felt that for the cost of the hotel we'd be seeing the river from our room.

My husband and I have stayed at Napa River Inn 2 times and it's awesome! The location is great - close drive to Rutherford, Yountville and there are tons of restaurants and shops walking distance in Downtown Napa. Breakfast from Sweetie Pies is included in your stay - it's both delicious and a great way to start off your mornings before a full day of wine tasting. I love this place and will definitely stay there next time we're in town.

My wife and I could not have been happier with the room and location, just beautiful. The spa was top notch, overall pricey yes but you can feel what you are paying for.

Room was a bit small but very nice. Breakfast delivered in the morning was terrific. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to, and we will return. Fireplace was out first night, but quickly repaired for next night.

from the warm welcome onwards, my family and i had a wonderful time! highly recommended.

The hotel is beautifully located on the river and is close to shops and dining .The room was spacious with elegant but comfortable decor. The staff checked us in early, and was very helpful and friendly. Even the soaps and shampoos in the shower were top notch and were invigorating. The Moxie Bluetooth speaker shower head was a new cool experience and the complimentary breakfast was delivered room service and was delicious.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really helpful and nice. And they treat your pet like a VIP!

Lovely location on the river, but room was dark and a bit claustrophobic. Having traveled internationally, I have stayed at many historic hotels. It could have just been the room location, but I would not stay there again.

Very old hotel, but clean and decent. We had a fireplace in our room which made for nice ambiance, especially because it got pretty cold at night. Staff is wonderful.. very friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately, because we did not book directly with the hotel, we got the room that nobody else wants, which was adequate. But for the price, we shoud've gotten much better.

Plenty activity within walking distance. Good place to relax have a few glasses of wine or beer friendly bars and resturants. Complementary wine tasting provided bt the hotel was a great touch.
