Comfort Inn Hot Springs of the West

A very comfortable hotel that's only a short walk to downtown Calistoga. In the inner courtyard of the hotel is a hot springs hot tub and pool, plus steam room and sauna (so you kind of get the Calistoga feel). Plentiful breakfast in the morning. Outstanding staff service - We left an iPad in our room when we checked out and the hotel called us and let us know so we could come and pick it up!

Beautiful view out windows. A little pricey. Very thin walls--could hear children talking next door. No elevators to second floor--hard to carry all the suitcases up.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it because it was the only one available on short notice, but in the future I would book it again. Very nice staff nice pool area good location

Overall, good hotel. Clean. Easy walking distance to town. Nice sauna!

Everything about the hotel was just ok. Breakfast was nicer than most, did not use amenities. Location was good, a bit of road noise on the side we were on. Staff was pleasant. Price was a little high.

This is a modest hotel with a good location and standard amenities. Breakfast is included, a nice pool and steam room also are part of the facility. I would recommend to others.

Took my girlfriend here for a wine country getaway. Great location in Calistoga and close to wineries and restaurants. Room was clean and quiet and the property was nice as well. Would recommend. A little over priced but seems like that's normal for the area.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly and kind . Pool was clean . Breakfast was good ! We recommend this hotel and are planning our next trip. Thank you comfort inn.

It's a nice little hotel for the money. Rooms are decent sized and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was basic but hit the spot. Could hear some truck traffic at night but it wasn't too bad. Probably not worth the $300 we spent for the night but that seems to be the going rate for a last minute booking in Calistoga.

Nice location in Napa Valley. Didnt spend much time in the room so this place was great!

The rooms are great, as is the location and value. However, the common areas such as the pool, dining area, lobby, and hot tub are in need of renovation. Staff says it is coming, but appears slow.

This hotel was excellent for our needs. Central location to downtown Calistoga within 5 minutes. Room had all the eminities. Full breakfast served. Nice courtyard in summer weather allowed us to sit ouside and have both breakfast and dinner. Very, very short walk to the parking lot from your room. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely return.Reasonably priced. "All-age" friendly.

The hotel was a good experience. There was remodeling going on but nothing got in the way of having a great stay. I was disappointed that the exercise room was closed at this time-trying to keep up with my exercise program. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful in finding what was needed. The room was very clean and neat. We did not use the spa or sauna on this trip but if we were to stay again we would surely do so.

clean and friendly, good breakfast, and good services

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location. All other hotels in same area were significantly more expensive. Hotel was a little worn but cute and clean. Good breakfast. Room on the ground floor was convenient. Better than expected.

We had a nice stay, easy and pretty affordable for overpriced Napa Valley.

My stay at the Comfort Inn Calistoga, Hot Springs of the West was quite enjoyable for the time stayed. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. However, it was obvious they had done some painting in the room because a long strip of painter's tape was noticeable along the ceiling. Upon closer inspection, the entertainment furniture was also damaged and the bath robes given were well used and frayed. Other than that, it was quite and enjoyable trip and the complimentary breakfast were sustainably abundant. I wouldn't mind going back. ^_^

Had a very nice time there. The pool was very nice as well as the hot tub. Breakfast was the best I have experenced. Good selections. I will come back soon. Staff was polite and helpful.

This is a clean tidy place for a night or two of sleep. Everything works, our room was clean, not spacious, but certainly adequate. The building might be vulnerable to heavy walking people (drunks n' idiots) but we were on the second floor. Staff were very polite and friendly.

From what we saw through the windows the rooms looked fine. We never made it that far. We were checking in and the lovely girl helping us said " The pool should be warm, we have been warming it all day". My husband and I booked the hotel so we could soak in the naturally heated mineral spring pool the stated they had. I even checked with them prior to arrival and they said yes it is heated. So off we go to look at the pool and hot tub. Neither were even what we would call warm, infact the "hot" tub was colder thatn the pool. Also the pool had scum all over the top, needless to say we went back to the desk and they did not argue about a refund. Do not advertise a heated pool an dhot tub when it is dirty and cool. We learned our lesson back to the hotels we know are clean and have warm/hot pools.
