Hotel has everything you need for a very comfortable stay: fridge and freezer, kitchenette, laundry, tv, bottled water every day and a nice view. Staff was awesome!

A very comfortable room in a great location. If you get a chance go up to the roof - they have a nice sky garden with great views!! My only complaint was the automatic light in the entryway would be triggered if you went to the bathroom, which was a little annoying but not the end of the world. The staff are very helpful & accommodating. Breakfast was also very good!

Pros - Under 1-min walk from Seodaemun subway (Line #5) station (exit #6); Incheon Airport limousine bus #6005 makes a stop in front; lots of eateries nearby, including Outback Steakhouse and a Korean restaurant in the building; 7-11 on 1st floor; in-room safe & microwave; plates & bowls (but no utensils) 15-20 min walk to City Hall, Cheonggyecheon, Lotte Hotel/Department Store, Namdaemun, etc. Cons - No WiFi in the room (WiFi only in the lobby area); stained towels; dirty/stained carpets and walls OVERALL, good value and I would stay here again (although no WiFi in the room is a border-line deal-killer for me). However, Vabien Suites II is definitely a level below Fraser Place (which I would give 4 stars but costs $30-50 more per night).

Room was clean, but part of ceiling was hanging down and wooden floor was stained. Kitchenette was well stocked, but did not have coffee maker (only hot water pot). Location was good - Number 5 subway line is half a block away and airport bus stops at front door. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We did not expect it to be so big! Plenty of room for the family of 4. The A/C and water heater controls were not the type we are used to in the West so it took us some try and error to figure. Pretty clean. Locations is within a pleasant walk to City Hall.

Overall we liked the hotel. The Vabien II really needs to replace or at least clean the carpets in its hallways. They are dirty and unsightly. Adding some chairs in the lobby would also be a good idea. Kitchenette area is very nice. Convenient to all Seoul sights.

This hotel should not be a three star. The rooms look old, the hallways were dirty, and there was virtually no staff to assist.

down town and 200 feet from subway, large room with washer and kitchenette, room well air conditioned but hallways hot and humid and dirty carpets. Got in on a 50% deal which made it great price

Cons: no wifi at room,no free fitness, no coffee maker Pros: location, close to subway, good price

This hotel is designed as a long-stay hotel, but we found it at a great rate. Room was modern and clean, had almost a whole kitchen, including dishwasher, and very modern bathroom. Beautiful view from upper floors. Airport limousine picks up every hour right in front.

Super near subway Station. Room is relatively cheap and big compared to other service apartments. Washing machine, dish washer and cooking stuff are all in! Will come back for a short term or long term stay next time! Only minus point is the freidliness of the frontdesk and inconvenient to check in on 3rd floor.

The hotel is literally steps away from the subway which was awesome! Other than that, it's not really a hotel, more like an extended stay facility. The room had a mini kitchen and washing machine which was great. The building contains a hot-pot eatery, steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, and 7-11. Not a lot to do in the area but really good for getting to the subway to go to all the different attractions and shopping. The staff was nice but not overly helpful, it's kind of a do-it-yourself kind of place.

Our room was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room - which was wonderful as we were there for 2 weeks. We had 2 oversized twin beds (I believe there is a single full bed option if you're traveling as a couple), a desk, flat-screen TV, kitchen with full stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, plates & utensils, and fridge. There was a washer/dryer in the kitchen as well, and a large shower in the bathroom. There was no tub, just a shower. The room was air conditioned, clean, and had lots of storage for our clothes and luggage. There was also free high-speed internet access via firewire cable. We purchased a multi-country outlet adaptor from amazon before our trip which was essential for plugging in our laptop. It was super cheap and worked great: http://www.amazon.com/Insten-Universal-Travel-Charger-Adapter/dp/B001MGUB9Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1312944344&sr=8-2 The staff at the front desk all speak English and were very helpful in the instances we needed a little extra help with directions to our various excursions, and arranging the occasional taxi. The bus from Incheon airport stops right in front of the hotel - we got curbside service to/from the airport 10000 wan (approx $10) each way. So easy! There is a 7-11 located inside the hotel as well as an Outback steak house (WAY overpriced and a bit of a weird menu) and a small Korean eatery. The subway entrance is less than half a block away from the hotel. We purchased a popout map before our trip and it was ESSENTIAL - it has a map of the major metropolitan area and a subway map - all in a map that collapses to pocket size. http://www.amazon.com/Seoul-popoutmap-Popout-Map/dp/1845876288/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1312944921&sr=1-1 I would absolutely stay at the Vabien II again.

The location of this hotel is the best aspect of it. The subway is just a 1 minute walk out the front door. Very easy to get around Seoul from this hotel. The room was very large, about 100 square meters. The staff seemed less attentive to helping with issues that we needed but they were not completely useless.

Subway stop was very close so used it to get around the city. Subway was clean, fast, and comfortable. Picked up at hotel by bus companies for day tours. The airport limo bus stop was also in front of hotel costing about $9 per ride. Appreciated that this hotel was away from the hustle/bustle of large deluxe hotels or major shopping markets.
