Amara Bangkok

Great choice in Bangkok

Stayed 3 nights in early December. Great location. Clean, convenient part of town. Short walk to sky train station. Yummy street food center almost across the street! It’s a business part of town, so lots of excellent food choices. Hotel staff were awesome. Especially the concierges. All very helpful and knowledgeable. It’s was our first trip to Thailand and we chose this hotel because of their helpful staff reviews. Well deserved. Hotel is pretty new so very clean. Used the rooftop pool couple of times. Perfect way to wind down after a long day at the temples. After Samuii and Chiang Mai, we had to return to Bangkok for one more night. Chose a different hotel in different part of town (Sukhumvit).. big mistake! Very different vibe.

Pathumwan Princess Hotel

Solo Traveler

This hotel was amazing. I loved everything about it...except the bed was very hard. Otherwise, it was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The location is ideal. Shopping, food, entertainment was all right there. You can literally walk directly from the hotel into the first shopping center. And there are so many shopping centers surrounding the hotel and connected to each other. A range of shopping from cheap market type times to tourist gifts to high-end fashion. Range of food from $2 take aways to extraordinary restaurants. I booked day trips for sight seeing through the hotel and everything was in a reasonable travel distance for Bangkok. Breakfast at the hotel is fantastic. Amazing staff that accommodated every question I had. Great gym at the hotel. Beautiful room and excellent views.
