Ever been to a place you just want to meditate and fall back in love with your life once again. Everything about this place is cute from the night breeze to the morning sun not forgetting the sweet romantic view in the night it just looks like heaven on earth. Did I mention food? well, the lovers of food trust me when I say you will end up eating your own hands at the sweetest foods served there. its an awesome place for a vacay.
We stayed here on three separate nights, in between safaris; it was so comfortable, and the staff so friendly, it felt like home from home. So near to Nairobi, but it felt like you were miles from anywhere.
We started our 9 day Safari here. This gave those of us just arriving from the western hemisphere a very comfortable and unique place to acclimate to Kenya. It's located near Karen, so it was a short hop to visit the Giraffe Center and SWT Elephant Orphanage. Our group occupied four tents for two nights: we all found them to be private, inviting, and comfortable. The dining tent served upscale meals, which were good. The service is outstanding... The staff aims to please and do. The bedtime hot-water bottles are a favorite. Asante Sana Cary, Erin, family and Friends. Battle Ground, WA. USA
This hidden gem looks and feels like it's in a remote, dense jungle, yet it is actually in Nairobi! We went there for a quick weekend trip out of town, and we loved it! The heated pool with a waterfall, is a dream come true for the kids. The tents are spacious and comfortable, and the design and layout of the whole camp, makes you feel like you are somewhere really far away from the world. The staff are always really friendly and attentive, giving the whole experience a realy personal touch. Already looking forward to being back. The kids are already asking when that will be!
My family and I spent 4 nights at this boutique camp with its gorgeous pool area and lovely and welcoming staff. The food was fantastic and all prepared to order; great Kenyan coffee served as well. This was a great and restful stopover after our 9 day safari ended. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this place. Totally different to a hotel experience and was extremely enjoyable - it was hard to leave!
We were a family group of 8 people with ages ranging from 15 to 60 and all had a marvelous stay at this beautiful resort/camp. We were very well treated by the very welcoming staff. We stayed here for 4 nights and they all became like family. All food is made from scratch and to order by the chef on-site and was some of the best fish we had ever eaten on our trip! Great location from which to see the major sites of Nairobi (Karen Blixen Museum, David Sheldrick sanctuary and the Giraffe Centre, etc.). Tents were immaculately clean and all had their own front private porch area with chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire that was prepared each night before dinner , and enjoyed going to sleep to the local sounds of nature and wildlive, whatever they may be! Totally secure environment. It was hard to leave this wonderful group of people - Many thanks to the staff at this special jewel for making lifetime family memories.
I took a break from the city to surpirse someone special for their birthday.Everything about this place is magical!.The tent rooms are so cosy and modern. The bed HUUGE and warmed with 2 hot water bottles. The bathroom area is so chic, give a very good vibe. The food was evidently fresh and well prepared despite how late we had it, the dessert was a disappointment though hope you can have more variety for that.I missed having pancakes and bacon for breakfast:(.Other than that everything else was perfect.
I've been to Nairobi several times and consider finding the Anga Africa Boutique Camp a real find. You can always find a hotel but if you are visiting Africa and you want to feel like you are there this Boutique Camp is a great place to stay. The tents are large, beds very comfortable. If it's cold you'll be pleasantly surprised to find a hot water bottle warming your bed. I've been lucky to have two hot water bottles. The staff can't do enough for you. Joy was waiting for me when I arrived at 2:AM. Food, lots of choices, soups are especially great.
Awesome hotel for when first landing in Nairobi. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are amazing and the meals outstanding. The grounds are small but beautiful with a central fireplace.
I am one of those persons that can fit into any travel experiences. I like outdoor but I always wonder how does it feel to be in one of those luxury tents. So this time I tried it and truth to be told, it wasn't such a bad idea. From food to room facilities to driving service, it was good. Just one small comment to the owner, you have to keep the dog away from guest tents as their loud barks kept me awake all night long. Thank God after raised it to the management, my second-night sleep was like a baby.
