Well kept property, clean and beautifully maintained ground with hanging flowers all around, staff are helpful and diligent, they are on top of everything. Great email communication, overall feels very welcomed

Like visiting family. Hospitable, clean, kind. Highly recommended!

Beautiful inn in the small village of Mystic and completely walkable to shops, restaurants, and attractions. View of the river, delicious afternoon chocolate chip cookies, and had a lovely room with a fireplace. I mentioned to the staff that two armchairs to sit by the fire would be nice. We also were concerned that the bathtub/shower was a little slippery with not much to hold onto for support. Staff was attentive in answering questions, making dinner reservations, and trying to help when the bathtub would not hold water due to an issue with the drain piece. We had to walk upstairs to our room, but that was not a problem for us. You also have to walk outside to get to the location for the continental breakfast which was just okay.

Loved the location - Close to everything in town. We walked everywhere.

I was visiting my Mom for Mother's Day and decided to stay at the Whaler's. Came recommended. My thoughts: 1. It is under construction and I was placed in a room directly above it. 2. There is construction across the street - and I was placed directly across from it. 3. I am fine with families/kids as neighbors in a hotel, but in a quaint old Inn like this, kids should be absolutely PROHIBITED from running up and down the hallways. You feel every single stride. Parents, be parents! 4. Front desk - except for one desk person, it felt like I was intruding or bothering staff anytime I had a question. 5. Free "buffet breakfast" is very weak, most important meal of the day for your paying guests, I could offer this and more in my own kitchen. Otherwise, don't bother. Again, if you come in close to the end of the buffet time, staff seemed/acted annoyed/put out. 6. For all of these reasons, and most of all the price, The Whaler's Inn is ideally located and overall very nice, but it needs to work on the above items.

It was great! Perfect location - walkable to Mystic Seaport and downtown Mystic with all its wonderful restaurants.

My fiancé and I staged for the night. It was delightful! The room decor was fabulous. The shower was a little awkward and small. Other than that, we loved the location, the staff was friendly, and the whole place was super clean. Easy parking and lots of bars, restaurants, shops! Can't say enough good things.

The hotel was great. Clean. Stylish. Affordable price. Really enjoyable stay. The only negative would be limited sound proofing; however, did not negatively impact the stay.

Beautiful room with jacuzzi tub. Next to drawbridge on main avenue with great shops & restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast included!

Last minute trip up to the Coast Guard Academy precluded pre-planning. Most of the nicer chain hotels were booked. I wish I had found this place earlier as we've made numerous trips to the area but never stayed here. The rooms were nice but the location is perfect.

I am thrilled you enjoyed your stay at the Inn, Being an old inn, sometimes the sound proofing is not what it should be, but I am delighted you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Mitch Marron Innkeeper
