Clean, safe. Heat works well. Good for a night or two. You get what you pay for. I'm not sure how anyone could expect more than what this offers at it's price point. BBQ area and basketball net for warmer weather. You'll hear traffic if you're a light sleeper. It's fine - no more, no less.
The walls were paper thin so I heard every word of the couple in the next room arguing (multiple times at all hours). The bathroom fan was very noisy, which would not have been a major issue except it ran whenever the bathroom light was on, and the switch was outside the bathroom.
We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the University of Rhode Island and explore the areas surrounding it. We were about 25 minutes from the university, but we booked last minute, and this motel was the closest one we could find that looked decent and didn’t cost a fortune. The motel was conveniently located near the highway and a Dunkin Donuts where we grabbed a quick breakfast both mornings. The person who operated the motel was pleasant, accommodated our late check-in, and gave us extra towels when we requested them. The room was a decent size and seemed clean overall, but the back of the bathroom door was dirty from where people touch it when opening and closing the door. That was not a big deal, but we did notice it. The towels were clean but very small and thin. The shower pressure was weak and became very weak when someone used the sink faucet at the same time. We found the bed uncomfortable. The pillows were great for sitting up and leaning against, but they were too hard for sleeping. They were not squishy, and my neck hurt the first night from the position caused by such a sturdy pillow. Two of us pushed the pillows aside and just slept without them. Eventually, I used a few towels as my pillow. Overall, this place was not fancy, but it did the trick for our quick visit to RI.
I was originally going to stay for 3 nights the staff at the front desk was extremely helpful in assisting me with reducing it to 2. However when we entered the room it smelled like mold, with a stench of stale air. I cleaned and wiped down the entire room and turned on the air. That made things worse, I had to turn it off and clean the filter because it smelled as soon as the air was turned on. The only reason I did not leave that night was because I broke out into Hives and couldn't drive off. .
Great location with a lot of morning sun as it faces east on a hillside. Convenient to I-95.
Convenient to 95 and local attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and grounds. Fast free wi-fi.
Nothing special. But very clean. The little in room refrigerator did not seem to work. It never got cold. Adequate for our needs which was a place to sleep after a full day at the beach and dinner. Checked out the next day.
There is no wifi beyond the office and rooms near the office. Rooms very dark and dingy as well as not clean. Bery disappointed in the condition and will not stay again.
First couple nights they let us use a roll away bed which was great. Then he decided he wanted to charge $20/ night so we opted to sleep on the floor. Booked a room & then ended up having to leave due to a family emergency but they allowed me to cancel my booking so that was nice. Beds were like trampolines but bathrooms were beautiful...
Staff was very pleasant & helpful. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was newly renovated & looked beautiful.
Old hotel . View. Right off 95 though listings don't say that Coffee only , no frills. Clean and ok.
The hotel was convenient for the money and location, bed slightly uncomfortable but staff was nice. Perfect for a short convenient stay.
The overall experience was very good. The value for money is outstanding. The room cleanliness was very solid, as was the comfort of the room. The staff/service were excellent (I was unable to check-in until around 4:00 am EST, the staff left a key taped to the door for me), although the location is a bit far from Foxwoods (roughly 10 miles, or 20-25 minutes). Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel.
You get what you pay for here. Low cost accommodations, right off of 95, about 15 minutes from Foxwoods. Outdated furniture but clean. Very thin walls if you have noisy neighbors.
I stayed here Fri/Sat, the rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, they have every cable channel imaginable. Would definitely recommend.
GREAT LOCATION, EASY ACCESSABLE FROM I95 AND TO THE AREA, MANAGEMENT WAS VERY SOCIALABLE AND MADE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE.
The Hotel, Service, and Staff was excellent. Highly recommend and good location for exploring area. Close to towns in RI ,Conn, and the Beach!
We stayed here when we were visiting friends by the shore. We had no complaints. The room had all that we needed-fridge, love seat,microwave, and king sized bed. The bathroom was fairly big. Nice grounds.
Older, clean, first room was very musty but they quickly moved up when we complained. Nice breakfast
