People who work there very friendly. Gave coffee, muffins, and water bottles every morning.

The rooms were ok, a/c worked wonderfully. The bathroom was comically small and had some mold issues. The outlet in the sink area was ridiculously high I did not notice it at first, which was fine since I could not reach it anyway. Nothing was plugged in and there were loose cords everywhere. Terrible value for the price.

Compared to other hotels in the area, the price wasn’t bad…but the hotel was not worth what we paid. The beds, at least, appeared clean. There was garbage and dirt under the beds and furniture. Furniture was outdated and drawers were dirty and falling apart. The furniture was not well dusted. The fabric on the chairs were worn and did not look clean. Staff was friendly and provided great guidance on activities and places to eat in the area. The breakfast was muffins, water and coffee. We chose to eat out. There is no elevator so if you cannot do stairs, be sure to ask for a first floor room. The staff was able to accommodate us with a first floor room when we arrived. The surrounding grounds did not look like they were well maintained, especially in the back which was our view from the room. They did not have body wash-only tiny bars of soap. A/C worked well. Great location for activities in the area. I would not stay here again, though.

Stayed one night. Overall decent property. A little dated and some squeaky floors but for the price certainly satisfactory.

Our room was great and staff very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It was simply wonderful. The room was very clean, the area is quiet, and the staff was not intrusive at all. Parking was convenient, and stores are practically within walking distance. The hotel is also right off Interstate 95, so access to Mystic Seaport, casinos, Aquarium and other attractions are very close by. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we visit southeastern Connecticut. We experienced nothing but good times at Groton Inn and Suites. We highly recommend it!

I thought this place was great. We had no issues, the property was nice and the staff did a great job.

Good

Very large room. For the price charged, they really need to update, clean carpets and paint.

Nice Room! Very clean! Even smelled clean. Very large room. The room we had was probably the same size as the 1st fl of my apartment. A person could almost have a small party there. I liked the fact that the bed was separated with 2 TVs each part of the place. Very spacious and comfy.

Terrible hotel Needs complete renovation

The staff were super friendly. The room was large and clean. A little dated but comfortable. The beds were great!

The landscaping was overgrown in front and back of property, peeling paint on wooden decks, cement and stucco on stairs and walkway filthy, walking into suite water marks on ceiling from a previous roof leak. , and overwhelming smell of mold and mildew throughout. We were so disgusted that we cut our visit to the area and went back home. We wasted time and money. It was a 2 hour drive back home. We were going to take in the sites but would have had to spend more money on a decent place. We stayed all of 30 minutes on the property. It would be nice to get a refund. Awful experience. There was food left in the fridge from previous quests, a hair in the bed, and stains in the sheets. The toilet barely flushed and the smell was pretty bad. I would not suggest it at all.

Outside property needs to be maintained, we drove and instantly regretted our decision just by the outside appearance. The inside is definitely older, and that’s not an issue but the room itself needs updates. The microwave was from 1990’s, and the room had no artwork at all on the walls.

The room felt a little humid and had a funny smell to it, aside from that everything was good. I think it's the cleaning supplies that were used
